There have been two announcements in the past week.
1) Gundy hires a new Offensive Coordinator who will call plays.
2) Graham Harrell joins the offensive staff.
Dana Holgorsen comes from Houston where he was the OC in 2008 and 2009. In 2009, Holgorsen's spread attack was No. 1 nationally in total offense (563.4 yards per game), passing yards (433.7 average) and scoring (42.2 points per game).
Before working on the Houston staff, the 38-year-old Holgorsen was at Texas Tech for eight seasons. In 2005-07, he was the Red Raiders' co-offensive coordinator. During those seasons, Texas Tech ranked no worse than No. 3 nationally in passing yards and No. 6 in total offense.
OSU seems destined for a profound culture change. Since 2006, the Cowboy offense sustained a 50-50 balance in run-pass yardage. In his five seasons as a coordinator, Holgorsen's offenses have gotten 79 percent of their yardage on pass plays.
Today Holgorsen confirmed that former Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell has joined the Cowboy staff as a quality-control assistant.

Dallas offensive-line recruit commits to OSU
by: BILL HAISTEN World Sports Writer
Monday, January 25, 2010
Dallas Madison offensive tackle Javius Townsend, who rescinded his Texas Tech commitment following the coaching change in Lubbock, announced on Monday that he has committed to Oklahoma State.
Speaking with GoPokes.com, Townsend described his weekend visit to OSU as having been "out of this world." The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Townsend is rated by Scout as being a three-star national prospect.
After touring the OSU facilities, Townsend said, "There is nothing like it anywhere else."
With Townsend, there are five offensive linemen and 20 Texans on the 28-player OSU commitment list. Verbal commitments are non-binding. Recruits may sign national letters of intent on Feb. 3.

If Calhoun gets past the NCAA. I am not too familiar with Townsend, but Calhoun is a bit of a paper warrior. Great measurables, but trouble with motivation, really slow step of the ball, bad form. He dominates Navasota's competition.
There's a reason that Calhoun, despite his great size, wasn't getting many looks from big name programs.

I heard he had some grade issues but I didn't know about his play. He's huge so hopefully Moore can whip him into shape.

He's definitely an upside guy. Great size, great strength, needs a lot of work. On raw talent, he's a take if you think he can get in. Like I said, I can't compare with Townsend because I know little about him, so I can't say whether he is an upgrade or not.

In an ESPN2-televised skills competition featuring NFL draft-eligible quarterbacks and wide receivers, Oklahoma State's Zac Robinson prevailed in the long-distance passing event (64 yards). There seemed to be no hangover from the shoulder sprain that affected his passing in the Bedlam and Cotton Bowl games.
Dez Bryant, typically dazzling athletically, was the winner of the route-running contest.

Describe what an "associate head coach" is? just kidding
Houston is not a private school

I was puzzled by the private school statement as well. It seems like a dazed reporter is confusing Houston and Rice; maybe it's because Rice's Todd Graham went to the real "TU" (what everyone in Tulsa calls the University of Tulsa.)
...doesn't seem to be any extra pay in the associate title does there?:)
