Thats all Amarillo has done is run the ball the past couple of years. They are known for their hardnosed running backs. Should be a great fit although I'm very surprised they didn't hire Flowers out of Bushland.

Amarillo is getting a very good coach. We'll miss him in Burleson.I believe the wing-t won us a lot of games. He did very well with the type of athletes that BHS has.I thought we won a lot of games against teams that had better athletes and more team speed than the Elks.Coach Maxfield is a good man, good coach and has a good family. He'll be an asset to AHS.Give him your full support while he installs his system. It'll pay off hopefully in the near future.

You are speaking the truth! I've been following Coach Maxfield since his days at Forney and, he runs a good wing-T.
If he ever gets another DaBryon Blanton type player, look out.
