As you saw from the first goodbye thread, we never forgot about you. We consider you one of us....especially us guys that has been there already. Check in time to time and if you have ANY questions about the military life......hit one of us up. We will give you the opinions of guys that have been there...like I said....you are one of us. Even though I've never met you in person, you seem like a good guy and I can honestly say I'm proud of you, so I can only imagine how proud your parents are. Stay away from the strippers...lol.. Also EVERYONE will give you credit....be wise and try not to ruin your credit. When buying a car....try to buy from a big city and not the ones around military bases....if possible don't even tell them you are a Marine. The women who live in military towns and near bases know more about the military than you do right now.....so be careful. Being away from home, some days you will feel lonely. But remember tough times dont last, tough people do!

Be safe Cowboy!

Oh...let me add this.

When out in town on liberty....take off your freakin' dog tags....that's the first thing gold-diggers look/listen for...

If you go to a mall near base.......and a pretty girl standing outside of a jewelry store attempts to sell you something....DON'T DO IT...they put that pretty girl out there for a reason.

The "High and Tight" haircuts and no facial hair will still give them away without the dog tags on. Also...Wearing a Rockets, Astros, or Longhorns jersey says "I'm not from here...I'm in the military"

Dada and Wide are right regarding their comments. There are plenty out there that really like the military, but just as many want to rob you blind, whether it be girls or cars.

How could i forget the women at the malls. That was worse than prostitution ever hoped to be! They would be all lovey dovey. " Come on, you would look awesome in this pair of pants"
The electronics stores... the worst!!! guys would get ripped off( not me!, I'm so tight I squeak) and they would be like," I bought this stereo that worked for 3 days, but you should see the chick that sold it to me!

Good luck Cowboy, Semper Fi!
