So 43 teams have finished in the AP football top 5 since aggy, 25 teams have made the CWS since aggy made the CWS, in the neighborhood of 256 teams have made the NCAA hoops tourney since aggy (note: i DIDN'T include teams that lost in play-in games ), 14 teams from Texas have made the NCAA tourney since aggy, and 11 teams (yes that's right, all 11) have won at least one B12 hoops tourney game vs. aggy's zero since B12 inception.

The best part of this thread is..........aggy trying to defend themselves...oh it's gonna be hilarious...watch.

I'm an Ag, and there's not really much to say...We'll get there eventually. I think its a little unfair to have it since the last time we made the top 5 in football because every team goes in cycles...

Basketball...we've never been a hoops power...women will probably make the tourney this year and if the men continue to improve they still can squeak in.

Baseball...don't know what to say...don't like the sport that much itself anyway.

Also, it is unfair to not give all the sports we compete in and show taht our softball, soccer, and tennis teams are doing pretty well. I know those sports are watcehd far less, but still. Fair and balanced.

I was wondering the same thing! I have never seen so much "hate" for Texas A&M then I have on this board. I didn't go to either Texas or Texas A&M, but I think I'd be proud to be a graduate of either school no matter what the athletic teams did. ;)

I hear ya'... they certainly haven't been impressive as of late.. but still... I don't have enough preference either way to get too upset... just when the Longhorns are not playing... I can catch an Aggie game and pull for them nearly every time.

My main problem is when people diss all the kids who go to A&M.....there are some cool *** people who go A&M and some very smart people who went there... and some times (Not in this thread) people demean the university and the students who go there.... as if it weren't a good school.... when realistically it is a fine school.
