In 1988 I bought a New Kids on the Block cassette....I liked one song.
After I realized how gay they were.....I gave the cassette to a girl at school.
I just don't like boy bands....something about it just ain't right. They just seem so......manufactured.

I know every word to every song on the "Grease" soundtrack....some people would say that is kinda gay I guess.

Songs/bands/albums no one would probably guess I liked or I wouldn't admit to...

Fear Factory (industrial metal, great highlight music)
System of a Down (new age metal, crazy dudes, extremely talented)
Stryper (80s Christian hair band...not a typo...thought the guitarist Oz Fox was a bad m'fer)
Earth, Wind and Fire (great music, before my time, nice rhythm & flow to it...found out where most rap/R&B beats came from)
Stevie Ray Vaughan (great Texan blues artist, shame his career ended early with plane crash)
South Park Mexican (Houston rapper, have every album but one)
George Michael- Faith (remember singing this song in car rides as a kid)
Montell Jordan- This Is How We Do It (my favorite R&B album although I don't listen to much of that type of music)

My CD collection is mostly hard rock/metal with some rap sprinkled in. That's what I listened to get fired up pre-game and still blast it today....only now it's on the way to and from work.

New Kids on the block had a lot of hits... Chinese food makes me sick... and I think it is fly when a girl stops by for the summer... for the summer... I like girls who wear Abercrombie and Fitch.... but she's gone since that summer.. since that summer..

Hip hop marmalade spic and span... met you one summer and it all began... your the best girl that I ever did see... the great larry Bird jersey 33..... when you take a sip you buzz like a hornet... Billy Shakespere wrote a whole bunch of sonnets....

and it goes on and on... lol.... I love that song even though it's lyrical content is soo weak... I do know the words by heart though.... hahahha!!!!!!!

I remember Vh1 would always play the Behind the Music: Milli Vanilli.

Girl you know it's true and Blame it on the rain. Those were the two singles I remember.
I think it's funny whenever I see the footage of them getting caught lip synching. The track keeps playing "girl you know it's, girl you know it's, girl you know it's..." Then you see them head for backstage. After that they revealed they were fakes and they gave back their freaking grammy's. OUCH.

It's sad though, because one of them committed suicide, because of that.
