Its not the most intimidating but i do like it when Slc wears the black pants for the playoffs.

When Katy wore the white jersey with white pants, if you saw it, what did you think.

Oh and i happen to like the woodlands' jersey, although right now I think I'm the only one that does.

Most intimidating i'd have to say.... Permian, but only if they could make a few improvements, say make the jerseys tighter fitting like college.

Lufkin's are pretty unusual and intimidating because of the athletes that are usually wearing them....

Ya I think Lufkin's are pretty fierce but I like Cove's aways...All white with the blue up the side and blue helmets.

Lufkin has the rare ability to make purple look dangerous. Anyone that can do that gets my vote.

when coming from a lview perspective, i bet lp's unis are pretty dominating in appearence. in the day, the operm black and whites were pretty awesome, too. and plano's plain white helmets were never a good sign to see across the line from you.

My personal list includes Permian's all black, Carroll's white jersies with black playoffs pants :D and Lufkin's unis.

Seems the darker the color - the more intimidating - deep purple; red/black or all black.

I never stated my fav's - but I do like CCOve - very sharp looking.

Katy Tigers white on white was CLEAN for the 30-0 victory over Alief Taylor this season... Especially after losing an upset to them last year, it was a bold move... Word is that Katy brought their white pants along to the state championship game, maybe they would've won if they wore them ha ha, it's a confidence thing, ya feel me?

That is an intimidating look, and thanks for the mention, but it didn't seem to intimidate too many of your boys this year. :D

A more intimidating look for us was the all blacks we wore during our last championship run in 1999. That was an awesome uni.

I have to admit...John-Tyler's CUJO playoff uniforms were pretty intimidating. I think the size of their players had alot to do with it too.

Sucks that they changed the logo/uniforms not too long ago. With as much history they have.......who would think to change the helmet logo?

Hmm dont know if anyone will ever match the feeling of going to Ratliff and seeing Mojo run out into the field. From the "P" to the Mojo in the shirt, even facing SLC didnt evoke quite the same feeling. Of course a lot of that luster has dropped off; if you take a look at the list, you will see that even though this is a list of intimidating uniforms, the more successful the team, the more intimidating the uniform tends to be. Perhaps when you're across the stadium from a team that counts their winning streaks against you in decades, you find everything about them a little more intimidating.

Alot of us were trying to talk coach into letting us wear all white but he stood strong on his no. Next yr we are supposed to be getting the new red jerseys and red pants from nike, if you haven't noticed the katy white jerseys and white pants are made special by nike. Not every team has a college fit like the new ones we got this yr, and what we should be getting next yr.

It has to be...Euless Trinity. As one of the other posters' said it's the players that wear the uniforms that make them intimidating. Looking across the line and seeing the Tongan Warriors in all black is as intimidating as it gets.

Hebrons black and blue look is pretty intimidating. Blue on the shoulder & black jerseys with black helmets and even an intimidating H logo. They will be 5a next year.

Good post, warbird00. Certain feelings do attach to the uniform of an opponent depending on the history of that team. Your post made me think of the times that Abilene High School came to Odessa in the mid-50's. The black unifroms were intimidating because the Odessa Hi fans (OHS was the only game in town @ the time) knew that Chuck Moser's teams were so well-drilled and trained & played w/ such intensity that the Odessa fans all figured that we didn't have much of a chance of beating them.

I was just a kid in the 6th or 7th grade @ the time, but I felt intimidated by this team even as a fan, & I know for a fact that there were plenty of fans sitting on the west side of Broncho sta. that felt the same way. I think Per. had pretty much the same effect on alot of teams for about 3 decades (mid-60's to mid-90's) I guess it's somebody else's turn now. Today, I like Brownwood's uniforms & helments pretty well, but it's prob. the team's history that evokes those feelings in me--I wish we still played them in the pre-dist. season.

I like Humbles all Purple Unis but i think they would be more intimidating if they were Purple and black...(the old ones where not intimidating at all with the paw print on the helmet...But i like the Kansas state logo on there now)
