View Full Version : Grown man crying at work.
I sit here all day and chat with you guys so I consider everyone on here friends. I don't have anyone to share this with, but I have to tell SOMEONE. I just got one of the best phone calls ever. I have an Aunt who was sick a slipped into a coma....for almost a month now. Her lungs and kidney were failing and the machines in the hospital were doing 75-80% of her breathing for her. Since it's been so long...we were expecting the worst and getting prepared. Well this morning my mom and another one of my Aunts were in the hospital arguing over final arrangements and what not...and low and behold....HER EYES OPENED.:D Then then began to ask her if she could hear to blink her eyes.....she did....she was responding....she then began to shrug her shoulders....and next she moved her head side to side.....I guess she wasnt ready to go yet!!!!!!

WOW! What a way to start your day! That is great news. We waited for my dad to wake up after bypass and then, before he could, his heart just stopped working and I lost one of my best friends. Before he went in though, he held my hand tightly and told me everything would be okay and it has been. I just love stories like this when they actually do come out of them. It may be a long road ahead nevertheless but the first step has been taken - please keep us updated - you know we are your extended "family".

Power of prayer, I could tell you some stories about those older praying church ladies or that anointed pastor.

You have to do both to get your miracle. Praying without believing is wasting your time.
That's good news dada!:D

No problem. I was just teasing you and don't really care if you put that on there. If you didn't know I'd done it before, that just means you had a good idea.
Update..My Aunt is doing MUCH better. She can almost speak again. Right now we understand her by reading her lips. Yesterday she mouthed " Can I go home now?". Wont be long before she gets her wish. I cant wait until she gets home....my son keeps asking about her and she hasnt seen my daughter yet.

What a great story..I take good news where I can..your story is uplifting and I hope all the good vibes from the board rats helps!
She's talking now....sometimes it's hard to understand and she thinks she's in the hospital for something else....her memory is on and off. Doctor says that's what happens when the brain looses oxygen for a while. She will start rehabilitation soon.
In other news....my 2 month old daughter started daycare last tuesday...something I wasnt too happy about...thought she was too young, but mom had to go back to work....Wednsday she came home sick....got worse....we were admitted to the hospital Thursday night and we've been there every since....she's doing better now and hopefully we will be going home today.

Maybe it's Madison as a school, but you don't go joking about certain things, especially when things are as serious.
