He has actually made some plays recently, but as a first rounder he is a bust.

Can you kick the ball, SWM? IF so, get on over there, minimum pay is pretty good I hear. Personally, I can barely lift my leg, much less kick something. Can't even kick the dog....:)

Well this certainly is good news. The Cowboys rightfully get rid of Folk and sign ex-Cowboy Shaun Suisham to replace him.

How is this an upgrade at all? We cut him in the first place because he missed too many kicks. The Deadskins cut him because he misses too many kicks. Maybe 3rd times the charm?:confused:

No, Skins cut him because he missed what would have been the game-clinching FG against the Saints. He's 18-21 on the year, and 5-6 from 40 and longer... compared to Folk who is 5-12. He is a definite upgrade over Folk, and at the very least is a good stand-in until the offseason.

FWIW, he was cut from the 'Boys before for going 1/2 and 3/4. Not exactly wretched numbers, as he averages about 80% for his career.

Folk is already gone. Too bad. He was a really good kicker until his off-season hip surgery.

Adams needs to be replaced ASAP. I agree with the comments that I have been reading about the o-line being overrated and Romo making them look a lot better than they really are.

I would say Newman and Williams need to switch paychecks with #21 and #19 soon or they are gone. They can both still play, but are WAY overpaid. Maybe Jerry can afford them but I hope it doesn't impact his ability to pay the young players.

Carpenter has been a bust period. I would have added Spencer to this but his play last week was superb. Where has that been?

In general they need to add depth to the O-line and continue to get younger.

The O-Line are a bunch of under acheivers. Roy Williams is scared to get hit. Marion Barber has lost something. Not sure what but he is not the same guy. Jones is too fragile and if Choice was any good he would be starting. I agree that Newman can't cover and Carpenter needs to go. The biggest problem the Cowboys have bar none is the owner. Just my opinion.
