Lake Travis is the only one of those teams that have a state championship recently. We were talking about regions. Region 4 has the same number of schools as region 1.

A few do, but none that threaten a title, or haven't yet anyway. One that did is getting close to that number. Most of us hate it too though. then again, most of those teams lose to schools with half their enrollment on a regular basis.

not that its relevant but i saw more chap players than trojan players on the sidelines in the championship game. And 5a to 4a, kinda different worlds! But nobody get upset its just my opinion, i could be wrong on that too!

close call, I'm not sure who wins that one. But I caveat that with the fact that I only saw LT on TV if I recall correctly, and that was very early in the season.
The Abilene speed and multi threat would be tough, but we just saw that a good and accurate passer with a bit of time could get downfield on them. And LT defeated Westlake (again, early) pretty soundly.
It would be a heck of a game.

5A > 4a most of the time. I think this years two 5a champs would beat the 4a champs. :eek: yep. I said it. Longview escaped with a win over a very good Allen team...that was still out in the second round of the playoffs. While you cant always compare teams, We'd score quite a bit more then 17, without turnovers:D, and while your offense is good, I'd take our defense vs your offense rather then your defense vs our offense any day. Its all pie in the sky, but a team that beat longview 24-17 doesnt beat the team that beat Katy 28-17. Especially the LT turnovers; two in the red zone right?? We'd have cashed those baby's in for sure.

Calm down It was only a joke. I only said it because he was saying how 4A was only 4A until they came up to 5A when Longview beat 5A it was just a joke calm down.
