Is it ok to root for the new highschool that opens up in your district. I graduated from Judson in 05 and will always be a JUdson fan but with wagner opening is it ok to Root for both school equally i mean my father and I have season tickets to both Teams now...does this make me a turncoat? I will probably always root for judson to beat wagner but who knows right i want to hear some info, maybe some of u have had this problem b4 ?

Dude, a lot of the kids in the JR class at Wagner are friends of mine. I am going to always root for Judson, but deep down, I wouldn't mind Wagner winning a lot. Especially since I could walk to Wagner from my house, but not Judson.

That is a toughy. Like I said in the "What we are looking forward to in 2006" thread... I think fans like you will initially root for Wagner but overtime... I think you will follow your alum and get a hatred for Wagner once a rivalry forms.

Gibbins is going to be a great head coach. I will root for Wagner unless they are playing Judson. Just like I'll root for any 26-5A team in the playoffs.

I see a lot of potential in Wagner. To me it seems like a small variation of Judson. Should be very good within the next few years. A lot of next years starters played for Judson their freshman years and sophmore, so it should be very exciting to see their desire to beat Judson.

Was gonna be Leander, Kerville Tivy, and Pflugerville but we are gonna have to drop the Pflugerville game because it is week 3 and that will be a district game or a district bye. Every team in 26-5A will have 1 bye week during district because only 8 teams can play at a time. And you can only have 2 non district games now. Since Pflugerville was going to be that week 3 game, it will probably get dropped.

I don't know about Wagners though.

MY 9th and 10 grade year there was practiacally a fight every other day. The best was by far the gang brawl where 17 people got arrested. LOst of people doing stuff on Campus like drugs and sex its kinda crazy...lots of fun now when i reflect back on it though.

11th and 12 grade year i spent alot of time making up from stupid decisions 9 and 10th grade year. Not as many fight but when people did it got really bad.

The grey campus is ugly and it smells like human excretion. There are a lot of immature kids and a lot of fights everyday. The administration is starting to crack down on everything, and the Judson Police department owns a lot of boots. (put on wheel of vehicle, have to pay fine to get off). If you park where you don't have a sticker for, you get a boot.

The red campus is....empty and laid back. Seniors are up there, along with some junior level and elective classes. The administration is laid back, they allow more than the grey. There is no Off-Campus lunch, but they don't stop you if you decide you want to goto any of the nearby Churches, McDonalds, Subway, Sabrasitos(mexican food, sp?), or any other place.

That was an outstanding game... I know you don't probably remember this well...but two plays were the difference in that game... tie game.. about to go to half time... Seguin recovers a fumble and takes it to the house.... refs don't blow the whistle and run with them all the way to the endzone... and signal touchdown... refs gather... fumble is called off. Also, when Seguin was up 10-7... our reciever got caught from behind at the 10 yard line on a 60 yard catch... they hold us too a field goal... if there is a touchdown there... I think Seguin would have pulled away.

Another that thing in that game I remember is being scared everytime James Henry got the ball tossed to him... lol

I am down with that... maybe the opening saturday at the Alamodome we can all meet up and catch the various games played their. Don't they have back to back games at the dome? (Main reason I like that idea is because I think Seguin plays Madison that day :D )

Yes I do remember that play. Actually, that was our CB Desmond Jackson(Just a soph. then) who decleated him on that play (I have the tape of that game at home). Its funny. My friend was wearing flip-flops and they asked if he had shoes with him and he said no. Then they let him drive home and get shoes. DURING CLASS. I think its stupid for people to miss class because of dress code violations. We are there to learn.

Zach Abermeit was his name... damn good football player. 6'1 210... he is playing at TLU now... it is a shame that so many good football players get overlooked here in Seguin.

If you thought he was good... come check out our middle linebacker now... number 1 Marcus Richardson is 6'0 215 and is faster, stronger, and better than Abermeit. I think he had over 150 tackles this year.

Hmm, I guess. Seguin HS isn't all that great... I gurantee we had the worst crop of girls in the world. Luckily I had friends at surronding schools. It was fun at times... the campus is ugly and old. We have nice sporting facilities with the new basketball stadium we just built. It wasn't too bad of a place to grow up... especially considering I lived in McQueeney and New Braunfels (My favorite place) was right there.

I graduated from Judson in 05 and will always be a JUdson fan but with wagner opening is it ok to Root for both school equally i mean my father and I have season tickets to both Teams now...does this make me a turncoat? I will probably always root for judson to beat wagner but who knows right i want to hear some info, maybe some of u have had this problem b4 ?
I think it's OK for Judson fans to like both. You can't help it when Wagner took Judson coaches. Loyalties are divided. I'll always be a bigger Judson fan.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I grew up in Victoria and most of my family attended Stroman and I grew up cheering for Stroman....But then I was the ONLY one in my family to attend and graduate from Victoria High (Go Stings!) so I used to cheer on BOTH schools....except when we played each other. I was the only one on the VHS side (with my friends) while my family was on the SHS side :D

Now it doesn't matter b/c we have a joke of a school consolidated by idiots that no one in town supports. God help VISD!

I think its in San Antonio. Even if its not, it is no where near Converse. It should not be called Converse Wagner. Judson ISD central office or whatever is in Live Oak. JISD is spread over a few little towns that are all mixed into San Antonio.

I remember a few years ago there was a huge grass fire in the field behind my house. And Kirby would not respond. It took San Antonio 15 minutes to get there, where as the Kirby station is less than 1 minute away. Then again they only have 4 trucks.
