It sounded like she just left him there. She is in big trouble if she did. That is just cold.

Great fiancee material - good grief.

This story says he is on life support and she is by his side. But they said as well he was found in the street and a medic called for help.

RIP Chris Henry! Troubled, for quite some time, he looked to be finally headed down the right path! Such potential... gone.

I was stunned to see that this morning.
I loved watching Hard Knocks on HBO this year, following Cincinnati's training camp. Chris Henry was involved, front row every practice, really trying to get his life and game back on track. I guess its good he did that before his time was up.

if i didn't know the guy changed, i probably would have said he had it coming. i hate thugs in the nfl, and couldn't stand seeing this guy in the headlines for the wrong reason but i still got a pit in my stomach this morning when i saw this. thought he had turned the corner...now, i don't know what to think until more details come out. still a TON of questions out there with this case. what a shame...

I'll talk about 'ol boy a little. He made his mistakes and has had a rough time, but I heard he was doing better. He's done some dumb things, but it sounds like his dumbest mistake yet killed him.
I haven't read the thread and some of you might've alluded to him being thrown the pickup his fiance was driving and them being in a domestic dispute.
1. It's dumb to jump in the back of a truck and start beating on the windows.
2. I don't know if he broke a window, but my money is on 'ol girl either panicking or getting mad and slamming on the brakes, which would throw him out of the truck. My money is on her getting mad and causing him to die.
3. I feel bad that he died, but what he did was dumb and there is no other way to look at it.

It sounded like she just left him there. She is in big trouble if she did. That is just cold. The Tech board was making fun of her myspace page. She's straight hood rat material.
If I were the cops, I'd be talking to her about potential homicide or manslaughter right now. She better hope he broke a window and she can plead protecting herself.

We heard he turned it around, but the evidence says otherwise:
1. He has a history of doing dumb things and this was no exception.
2. Henry has issues if he can't control his emotions to the point that he jumps in a moving truck in a fight and starts beating on the windows as the 911 call alluded to.
3. I won't say he had it coming, but I will say his early departure was a reasonably expected event based upon his decision-making on earth.

OK,
I'll give you a 3rd plausible reason he might've died:
3. He's beating on the windows and she is pre-occupied with him and doesn't pay attention the road. At the last minute she has to slam on the brakes to avoid a wreck.
I'm betting she snapped and got mad, though! This is a coming from a guy that used to ride the back seat when my dad was driving and he'd slam on the brakes on the interstate because he was mad that somebody tailgated him.
f.uck you loony. i really hope karma bites you in the *** one day.

Hey, I'm objectively discussing it and we know this much:
1. He's been in plenty of trouble before.
2. He was beating on the window while she was driving.
3. His fiance does not present herself as somebody who maintains order and decorum at all times.
I'm sorry, but jumping in the back of a truck and fighting with somebody that you can make mad at any moment is stupid. I already mentioned how my dad couldn't control his stupid temper and could've had me killed as a kid and I was completely innocent in the matter, which is something Henry isn't.
I'm sure 'ol girl felt bad after he was lying on the ground, but my money is on it being her fault. On the flipside, we might not ever know how it went down. I mean it's possible he was in the truck and she decided to take off, but my money on that is he was mad when she started driving off and he got in the truck. I speak from experience in that matter because I have an ex-wife who would try to block my path in the house because she couldn't stand the fact that I didn't want to argue anymore and she couldn't get the last word in. She'd follow me around, shut doors if I walked into another room, and the whole 9 yards.

Here's my take on this. Both of them are at fault. Chris needed to be smarter than this. You dont need to hop in the back of a moving truck. That was pretty stupid. And the fiance is at fault too. You should had some smarts and stop the truck when Chris jumped into the back of it. But i doubt the fiance will get into trouble cause according to ESPN, she stopped at the scene when this happen. I thought she was just cold blooded at first.
But with all tht being said, RIP Chris Henry. Hate to see this happen to a guy doing all the right things.
