He still did the freakin' backwards "Hook 'em" though...
That drives me nuts...you would think somebody on the team would tell him he is doing it wrong.
Anyway...he's a cool guy...very down to earth.
Mack and a few of the players (Sweed,Hall,Huff) had good things to say about him....Said he would hang around at practice and dance and joke constantly...They even put him in the team photo in front of the Rose Bowl.

I heard that after the game the players were invited to a post game party at his house. I don't know if they went or not, and I am sure that if it was against NCAA rules they would not have gone.

he's an embarrassment to all things texas, imo. he's a jock sniffer, and a doofus. he's been reading too much of his press agents writing and believes it. does he think the hookem horns sign is some sort of gang symbol? tu is welcome to him, just keep him off the television. make him your private wannabe.

I went to high school with this doofus. I can't stand him. You'll never meet a more cocky, arrogant jerk than him. When he actually played football, I lit him up every day. You stink Matthew.

Well, a lot women don't think so!! I, for one, think he's HOT!!! I don't like the backwards hook em horns though...it's too weird. He's been hanging around the Texas team for a LONG time - my niece sat with him at a game many years ago when she was a Freshman at UT...said he was great fun. So, in that respect, he's not a bandwaggoner.
UT has Matthew, Farrah, Walter Cronkite, Janis, Vince, Earl, Michael Dell and many others - what does A&M have? I'm just wondering - I really don't know who has come out of there (except my good friend Matt).

it's a short drive for you to get to "nuts", Wide.
Why wouldn't the players like him, he's their supplier. Don't tell me you think lil Ricky was the only one hittin the bong...
who says A&M cornered the market on tradition- spark one up of your own!

No wonder why Oprah goes crazy when she surprises everyone with things that cost $1,000 during the christmas holidays.

She must need that tequila shot after Norris took her out. I'm still upset by that voting - I think she can take him.

She would probably throw money in his face. Pay him off so he kicks himself instead of her.

Willie's been known to spoke a doobie or two - does he not represent Texas?? He's a native - he's a Texan. Matthew was born in Texas - doesn't get any more Texan than that and I thought he represented very nicely on Oprah - very down to earth and humble. Some people tell me I don't have a strong enough accent to be a "true" Texan - my 4th great grandfather fought at San Jacinto (his name is on the plaque too!) and that's how we arrived here. I'm pretty darn Texan even if I don't always sound like it.
