Has anyone seen this show? I am naive to BBQ competitions but man, these people take BBQ serious! Today, they are doing an episode on BBQing a whole hog. Plus, there seems to be many competitons to be a part of.
I ain't gonna lie. Some of that BBQ looked damn good!

What channel? Here's the funny thing - I like shows like that but really don't like going to those types of competition.
They are very serious - and pour tons of money into those rigs.

Hi RD!
We caught that last night on TLC. I don't care for TV and really don't care for reality TV, but it was very interesting. The rigs, the presentation, the little tricks and quirks they all have was something to behold.
We consider ourselves (I should say the Hubbo) amateur BBQ'ers but WOW those guys and gals are dead serious. That Myron guy could get on my nerves real quick though. I was hoping the "Slap your Daddy" guys would win one to shut him up. :p

Hi, Katt. As soon as I saw the full pig being split and the pure meat fest that fills the show, I'm waiting for PETA to protest this show. :D
Myron can be quite arrogant, but most of them think highly of their work. That young man from McKinney came off cocky as well, but learned the hard way at BBQ is nothing to slack on. Also, Myron wins events. He wins trophies. He talks a big game but backs it up.
