Would we have a starting qb in the Super bowl? Probably Not. Each team would have a neuro-specialist, orthopedist, and hypnotist, and funeral director.

Here are some coach outtakes from Weeks 17 and 18 in the year 2011.

The expansion of the schedule to 18 games would be a mistake of epic proportions. I don't like the impact is will have on the players or the quality of the season. The league's arguement that they already play 20 games is so weak I struggle to understand how they even floated it. The preseason is not the regualr season, period. I like the way they are packaged now. It's more than enough to satisfy but leaves you wanting more shortly after it's over, kinda like great, Chinese food. More games will lead to a lesser product. It will also lead to discussions about playoff expansion, another thing I'm against.

Imagine the math required to figure out which 9-9 team gets into the PO's. And, the '72 Dolphins will die knowing they are the greatest team ever in their own imagination.

A 16 game regular season is already too long!

I propose they reduce the schedule to 11-12 games and then play a championship game determined by a computer ranking that takes into account several factors, and have several other teams play post season games in different venues around the country.

Everyone's a winner and swag all around!

I see a DI Super Bowl and a DII Super Bowl...based on population in the MSA...
Or maybe a poll of sports writers and some kinda computers sorting out 'the best teams'...

From a Cowboys fan's point of view, I think the regular season should end in November, and the playoffs begin in January.:D:D
