Not a bad move. Too much money for his age.

I agree with that but he ate up a ton of innings. they are going to have pitching issues this year. Back where we started maybe.

Not sure how the Rangers expect to contend with these bats.

Rich Harden is a great pickup for the Rangers. Chris Ray is a good young prospect. Word is that Feliz may also be hitting the rotation this coming year too. I just wish we had the money to sign Lackey!

Mike Lowell to the Rangers and Max Ramirez to the Red Sox is almost done.

Good for the Rangers on this one. Millwood ran out of gas late in the season and had been injury prone and showing his age for a while. He is a good guy but IMO wasn't a good investment going forward.

Yeah, I didn't catch that they were getting Harden, and just thought Hicks was jettisoning payroll. He's having a hell of a time with a lot of his clubs right now.

So we give up Millwood. We get a middle reliever and Rich Harden.

I feel way more comfortable than I did before.

Starting rotation next year:

1: Feldman
2: Harden
3: Holland
4: Hunter
5: Feliz, PLEASE.

You've got to like the looks of that rotation. Lots of up-and-coming talent. How's the bullpen stand if you take away Feliz?

The 2010 season is shaping up to be better than 2009. We'll give the Halos a run for their money with John Lackey possibly gone.

We can't rule out the possibility of Ben Sheets coming to Texas. That way Feliz could stay in the bullpen.

I'd love for the Rangers to add Sheets. Gives them another big arm in the rotation, and most of all, some depth.

I was excited about the season last year, and I'll be even more excited when this one rolls around.

Sheets is a total crap shoot. Didn't even play last year after having elbow surgery in February.

The Rangers have so many good young arms which is what made Millwood expendable. Not to mention that they signed Harden a few days ago.

Don't like the Lowell trade though.

I dont mind the interest in Sheets. in 2008, he had a 3.09 ERA with 13 wins. If he can prove he is recovered from surgery, it would be a big pick up for the rotation. And Lowell isnt a bad move either. It adds to there lineup since we wont sign Byrd or Blalock back even though I would love it.

I hope Holland is ready for the rotation.
