Where are the Jags in 2-3 years? (hint - they're averaging 40,000/game right now).

LA is the logical choice. It could have a dual meaning - the cat and the car - Jaguars.

Phoenix has the Cardinals. Why the hell would Jacksonville move there?

The two finalists need to be San Antonio and LA.

Phoenix has a better chance of supporting TWO teams than the welfare city of LA has of supporting ONE...

If LA can't draw 70k people out of 13 million what makes you think Pheonix can draw twice that out of 4 million?

I don't have to sell twice the number...tight assed republicans call it cost controls...spend...spend...spend is just a different approach...
Comparing the residence of Phoenix to LA...per capita...who has more money to piss away on pro atheletes??? I dont know the answer...but I'm guessing Phoenix...which is why I said it in the first place...

Still though, no way Jacksonville moves to a city where it has to compete for attendance.

Most logical would be LA though.

LA is the most logical choice but they better move quick. Depending on how situations with stadiums and ownership plays out the Chargers, Rams and Bills are all rumored to be on the move.

LA would be most logical if they decide to leave. Others are San Antonio, Salt Lake City.

Is there to much of a Cowboy fan base in Oklahoma City that it would be a non-starter there?? Population wise they are similar in size to Nashville, Kansas City and Oakland... Add in Tulsa and they're in the size with Indy and Baltimore... There are enough people in the state, it's a matter of is the fan base interested in supporting their own team.

Cowboys would never allow that to happen anyway.

i say LA, but don't count out San Antonio. Most of Frontera Tamulipas and the rest of Northern Mexico would make the trip to SA. those people that would make the trip have more money than most of us know what to do with.

anyway, LA has gotta be the worst fans for letting so many teams get away.

San ANtone would be cool, but stadium size? How big is the Alamodome?

Oklahoma would go CRAZY for their own team. They love the 'Boys, but they would really support. Problem: stadium, local funding support, and the 'Boys would hate it. I would put the stadium right down there near Bricktown, the perfect place.
But they are cheap, won't do like Arlington. Remember the GM plant having to do a giveback?

Alamodome is big enough although not up to todays standards in other amenities.

Jerry would never let it happen. Too much Cowboy fandom in that area.

the size isn't the problem. they would need to make a huge face-lift to that stadium. it was average for high school football games.

I've always thought you could have a similar market draw there like you have with the Titans and Panthers, with the support for the team comes from the entire state.

Bricktown would be a great place for a stadium. But actually Tulsa might even be better... You could draw folks over from northwest Arkansas to the games as well.

Obviously either city would require a new stadium and that's a huge draw back in making this happen.

yes. The RedHawks stadium is GREAT! Very personal and tickets are cheap, and you are up close to the players, like old-time baseball. Nice suites too, and affordable for a guy to bring his softball/baseball team to view the game in.

Bricktown is definitely the place. The highways proximity, the old polluted land ready for reuse. :D But it was trouble getting funding for 100 year old schools that were leaking with rusted lockers falling off the walls (I saw pictures and knew someone who was a principal at one of them, simply awful), much less funding assistance to build a stadium. Library funding was voted down when I was there as well. None of the 'burbs has the money either.
