4 flight delays to get up to Tahoe. I get here 5 hours late and they're experiencing the worst winter storm in early December that they can remember. I can't get up to the freaking mountain to ski. No way I.m driving up and down hills in this crap. People are slipping and sliding around town as it is. So I came all they way here to play in poker tournaments all day. And get fat on prime rib specials
Could have driven a couple of hours to Louisiana to do this

If he was going to Tahoe to ski I think that would put him in Reno not Vegas. But Tiger probably has ties in Reno as well. ;) Would not surprise me.

Will they have the mountain road open by morning? How long were you planning on staying?

Yes in Reno. The cabs all have 'The Bunny Ranch' adverts. I think it's in nearby Carson City.
I went all in with the highest possible flush and got called by someone who had the full boat. Oh well. There's another tournament later.

I'm outta here tomorrow. I don't think the mountain road is closed. Just not brave enough to drive in it. Had I booked a Lake Tahoe hotel instead of a Reno one, I would have been ok. They run shuttles to Heavenly from the Tahoe hotels. They do from Reno too but not this early in the season. Guess I'll know next time.
