Iowa State is out, Okie Lite to the north and TCU joins the south.

Keep in mind that Gary Patterson just signed a 5yr extension.

it would be stupid. tcu's stadium sucks, their fan support sucks. and osu going to the north is dumb.

we've talked about this here before. what does TCU bring besides a good football team? iowa state is a perennial wrestling power. that's what the north does best, especially in the corn-belt.

as for moving okie lite to the north....why? none of it makes sense.

and to put this into perspective, these are the same fans that every year blame the refs for them losing to texas.

I wholeheartedly agree, don't get me wrong.

It's just not as far out as it would seem. Fun to think about.

They have a very good baseball team.

there wouldn't be 2 dfdub schools in the big 12. baylor has that one on lockdown. this just sounds pretty "i heard from a guy who heard from a guy".

Add OU, Okie Lite and Arkansas and you might be on to something.Adding anything Okie-related or Arkiesaws related to the "BIG TEXAS" conference defies the laws of nature. There is no room for the suck that is Oklahoma or Arkansas teams in the TEXAS conference. ;)

No way. Baylor barely filled 30% of the stadium when we played in Arlington two weeks ago.

Tech has a HUGE alumni base in DFW.

baylor is a better baseball school than tcu. and basketball.

plus, they're our private school.

baylor wins.

so pretty good football and great golf team for a subpar football team, and a great basketball, and pretty good basketball programs?

naw... i think the Big XII will stick with baylor.

What would TCU add to the conference from a business perspective? Losing Missouri and KC/St Louis to add Ft Worth does not make sense at all.

from a competitive perspective, TCU stacks up very well in sports as a whole.

why?

b756561
12-22-2009, 04:19 AM
why?

Why? Because there are so many fine schools in Texas for those boys to play at. Why go to that great suck up north? Those poor boys can never come home and walk the streets holding their heads high again. They will be ashamed of themselves for the rest of their lives. Remember, at O.U. the wind doesn't blow, it SUCKS. :p
