Washington State Championship (Updated: Bellevue's tribute to Katy)...

Bellevue (Wa.), who played Katy earlier this year, will be playing Liberty for the 3A state championship up in Washington. It looks like this game will be televised live tonight at 9:30pm central on Fox Sports Atlantic (Channel 120 on Comcast in Houston).

I thought some of you might be interested...I'll be tuning in to watch and comment in this thread.

They lost to Grant, California (14-0) the week after Katy. Bellevue was missing a TON of players due to injury for that game after they played Katy. I know their top offensive and defensive players were both out.

Call Comcast and have them add the "sports package"...I think its only an extra $5 a month for all of the sports channels you can handle. The package is also great for college basketball once football is over for the season.

As a 3A school Bellevue simply didn't have enough players on their team for the Katy game; but it was obvious that the players that they did have were the right kind of players and that they were a championship team. I am so happy that the sign was shown. Me and my family made that last night for the wolverines, because yall are in my mind the classiest team and fans we have played in a very long time. I was worried it was not gonna be seen by any one because we did not make it to tail gating becasue of car issues but i asked the cheerleaders to show it for us.
