Barely, on a horrible night from Romo and our corners. Let's see how much that win means when Romo pushes his record in NY to 3-0 and ends the Gints season.

Perhaps, but there are wins you piund your chest over and then there are wins you never mention. The NY win was the latter, no way around it. The Giants season is over. It will be done when Dallas puts them down this weekend. Forget the wild card. It ain't happening this year.

On the contrary.....some wins bring personal satisfaction (like beating the Cowboys), but the only one worth beating your chest is a Super Bowl victory.
Or....maybe a playoff victory for the Cowboys, it's been a while.:notworthyIf the Giants don't make it....it's okay, we'll be back.

Right, I'm so personally satisfied by those two wins we had against the Gints in 07.:D
Also, I have a real question. When NY fails to qualify for the playoffs this season and barely makes it to .500, what will the media say? If that plays out they will have mirror imaged the Cowboys of the previous two seasons. Dallas catches all the heat while NY skates? 07 Dallas loses as the #1 seed to a team that beats the top 3 teams in the playoffs and wins a title. 08 NY loses as the 1 seed to a team that does not advance to the SB. Never mentioned or it was Plaxico's fault. That's it. This season they come in as SB contenders and will not make the playoffs, just like Dallas in 08. my guess is they'll walk again. Wanna know why? Me, too.

They might! The Marion Barber fumble on the screen play at the end of the first half, was the momentum changer, IMO.
This is probably the toughest December stretch, that I've ever seen for the 'Boys. Alot of people placed this team's December failures squarely on the shoulders of Romo. But, he didn't play bad today.
Even after today, I'm still thinking 10-6 or 11-5. Alot of people don't think so but, they do play the games for a reason. We'll see what happens.

The good news is, it would take one of the greatest collapses the Cowboys have ever had to NOT make the playoffs. Even at 8-8 they are not eliminated. I still think they'll finish December with a winning record though.

Yep! I mean, I'll admit that their recent lack of success in December can make it hard to be optimistic. But, as I said before, they play the games for a reason. Definitely flying under the radar now!

Romo fricken played lights out.
I definitely see a different player in him, then in years past. He's shown that he can deal with the pass rush and, he's cut down on his mistakes. He's finally learned to take what the opposing defenses are giving him. I'm interested to see where he and this team end up. He has to see Washington's and Philly's defense again, and I think we might see a shootout between Tony and Philip Rivers next Sunday. Hopefully, we'll be on the winning side this time.

Romo fricken played lights out.
But he'll still take the blame from alot of the national media. All we'll here is how he can't win in December for the next week. They'll be little mention of the 112 passer rating or the 392 yards or the 75% completion rate or the 3-0 td to turnover ratio. He was amazing yesterday.

How Dallas let NY win that game yesterday is beyond comprehension. I do say that NY won that game. They capitalized anytime Dallas slipped in any of their responsibilities.

Think about the potential offensive performances we're going to witness the next two weeks in Romo/Rivers and Romo/Brees. There's a chance Romo could put up his best three week stretch ever and be 0-3, though. If that plays out is it still on him?

They still have along way to go. Dallas will have to continue to crumble and Green Bay will need to be overcome and NY almost has to win out. I'm not saying everyone of those can't happen. They very well could but NY has alot of work to do. They were at home at completely desperate yesterday. Anything other that a win and it was over for them. I congratulate them for rising to the moment but that sort of motivation and adrenalin is not going to be there for them every week. You could realistically expect to win 3 out of 10 games, maybe, with a boxscore that read like yesterday's. Huge win for NY full of amazing big plays. Lot of work left for them, though.

The Giants are just not the team to kick when they are down.
Folks need to realize the organization is top notch and they won't hesitate to sit a guy no matter how many starts he has.
Why wouldn't they have confidence still when their last SB victory was as a wild card?
The Cowboys do have a good team, but there seems to be breakdowns in so many phases at critical times instead of regrouping during the game.
I really only go against the Cowboys when they play the Giants...........

Unfortunately, they'll still put the blame on him because, after all, this is what they do. Been listening to some of the talk radio this morning and, there have been some that has gave him hell. When someone brings up the stats that he had yesterday, I've heard some say, "So, he's still the reason that we lost!". Uhh, NO!
Neither one of these stupid fucks has even mentioned the fumble that Marion Barber had, that gave the Giants the momentum.

There's alot of ball left to be played and, IMO, it's still wide open. I know that most people have already put the Saints in the bowl from the NFC. BUT, there will be teams that have something to say about that.
Oh, and just like last year, no one is paying attention to the Cardinals.
