We did this earlier in the year and got good results...alot of things have changed since then so lets update.

Again...you are picking your top 10 QBs off of pure talent. Your the HC...job is on the line...You have to get a guy you know can come in and run your scheme off of his pure talent...you have to win THIS YEAR. Who do you trust the most.

Mine...........

1) Peyton Manning
2) Drew Brees
3) Brett Favre
4) Tom Brady
5) Philip Rivers
6) Donovan McNabb
7) Kurt Warner
8) Aaron Rodgers
9) Ben Roethlisberger
10) Eli Manning

Eli is back to the guy he was and Brady is only great when he has a great defense and no harassment. So my list goes like this.

1) Brett Favre
2) Brett Favre
3) Brett Favre
4) Drew Brees
5) Peyton Manning
6) Phillip Rivers
7) Tony Romo
8) Aaron Rodgers
9) Ben Roethlisberger
10) Vince Young

Favre goes 1, 2, 3 since he is 3X better than anyone else. Drew Brees has put together 1 great game after another and last night was near perfect. Peyton has the stats for years now and his comedic acting is #1. Rivers, Rodgers and Roethlisberger all put up good numbers and can carry a team when needed. Vince Young just wins somehow someway he wins. And Tony Romo puts up decent numbers and being the QB for the cowboys makes him a hot commodity in the skank world and that has to be top 10 worthy.

I'd love to see what Romo would do with the proper coaching.

- Eli will never live up to that contract. He 's good but not great and incapable of doing things himself. He does not bring any level of intangible to the table.

- Warner is fun to pull for. That said he's old, streaky, injury prone and has never been successful except for when he has the best wr's in football. Seriously. Holt and Bruce with the Rams. Fitsgerald and Boldin in the desert. And those are just the headline guys.

- Flacco/Ryan - just too early to throw either in the top ten. Flacco is playing as well or better than his rookie year. Ryan has regresses this season.

Because he was sentenced to Cincinnati and the Steelers wrecked his knee a few years ago, nobody remembers that Carson Palmer is flat amazing. Of the top ten, he's probably the one that fit the prototype best. Most accurate strong armed qb since Aikman.

In San Fran?? I'll take it FOR SURE!!! Give me Brady Quinn or go out and draft Clausen and Tate.

Clausen, Tate, Cragtree in Charlies system sounds like success to me. Gore would be the perfect back in that system as well....not to mention a pass catching TE who can block when asked to.

Damn, I did forget about Palmer! As long as he's got an o-line in front of him, he'll do fine.:notworthy

Dude, Tony just needs the proper coach to mold him. Can you imagine, just what if Norv Turner would've ended up here in Dallas? By the way, Norv has done a great job with Rivers.

Also, when Tony came out of college, Shanahan wanted him in Denver. As a matter of fact, Denver had offered Tony more money as an undrafted free agent, than Dallas did. But, this is where Tony wanted to come. If Shanahan or Holmgren get their hands on Tony, it's on!

Can't lie! That would be a nice setting in San Fran! Wouldn't surprise me one bit, if they went after Quinn.

As for Vernon Davis, I could see him breaking Tony Gonzalez's records.

Agreed. Houston gave up alot to get him and then paid him well to do it. He's been good this season I wouldn't deny that. All I will say is with the injuries, the second half inconsistencies and Houston now 5-7 after being 5-3 ..... I just don't see him in the top ten. I'd have him in the 15-17 range.

Very much agreed. Especially off of pure talent which was the guideline of the post.
