After being at bootcamp and being in a platoon with Marines from mostly the upper midwest to west cost we had a few very heated arguements about high school football. I know this was a pretty big issue back in august when Tyler Lee got smoked my Ohio (sorry boys it happend face it), but Its funny how I would be like yeah you know high school football is life in Texas, and the other person would be like yeah it is in Washington to we have like 5 or 6 thousand ppl at a game, I just smiled and grinned, try 20,000 ppl at play-offs at texas stadium, try 12,000 seat stadiums filed to the brim.

I just wanted to say how proud I am of Texas High School football players around the site. Ppl do have respect for texas football....Espically southlake surprisingly...(i hate slc but i talked y'all up)...

thats all i really have to say...

football is the heart of texas :)

was that sting comment immediately preceding some serious up downs, or a 20 mile hump, or what.

yeah, they'd more likely follow a navy group until they all died off, then turn around and run back.

I did PT with the Marines a few times. HUGE mistake...here are my thoughts on that...

First of all why the hell are we carrying telephone poles on our shoulders?
And why are we running through the sand when there is a big *** seawall that is concrete right here next to us?
And why am I awake at 0 dark thirty?
And correct me if I'm wrong...but didn't I have to help carry some of you out of the bar last night? How are you yelling and singing this morning?

NEVER AGAIN...

I did it once on a dare from some of my Navy buddies...
I did it the second time to try and redeem myself for failing miserably the first time...
after that I just gave in and said....Okay....your PT is tougher than ours.

When I was getting ready to go back to training after my short lil hospital stay and I was doing a little PT with MRP (medical rehabltion Platoon), and I saw a group of Seaman doing PT, They ran 1.5 miles and did pull-ups and they were all out of breath walking slowly back to there cars like they did something...

Deep down somewhere I have respect for the fat nasty Navy :), the corpmen I have a little respect for to...kinda

hey hey hey, not so much on the navy... my brother, father, grandfather, grandfather's father, are sailors, and we all know from Highschool World History, no country can be a world power if they dont have a 1st class "big" navy.... so don't be hatin'... plus the real training goes on at the great lakes, who won the last Navy vs. Army football game??? really i don't know....

A combined group of future officers in the Navy and Marine Corps won the last Army-Navy game.

The US Naval Academy sends its graduates into both the Navy and the Marines...there is no Marine Academy.

When I was in Navy boot camp in San Diego we would watch the grunts (Marines) across the fence running, and throw rocks at them...respectfully of course...I think its all condos now..the military can't afford to live there any more....

I just wanted to say how proud I am of every Marine!! My brother was a Marine and recently okay well not recently prob. a couple of years ago because he found the women of his dreams and got married. He was a Sgt. as well as an MSG! So anyway Marines are the best...always have been and always will be! Thanks so much for being one of the few!
