Really, I don't know who should get the MVP award because their are a lot of players playing like mvp's. It's just hard to choose when so many players are putting up astounding #'s.

Gotta include Westlake QB Tanner Price in this discussion. Wake Forest committed lefty leads the Chaps in Passing, Rushing, and, i think, scoring. Not to mention leading the Chaps on another successful playoff run still in the making. Sounds a lot like a certain Heismann winner from Florida.

I never thought about it until now....
He gets held to 8 yards.... they lose to Lee
He gets held under 50 yards... they squeak by Desoto
"Magic" Johnson for Heisman!!! :notworthy:notworthy

Too soon to pick. There's a lot of football left to play and a lot of leadership to display. You could justifiably nominate the leaders of 32 teams right now.

very true... but you shouldn't have to go all the way to be considered for MVP... most of the time in any professional league, the MVP doesn't win the Championship... but in Texas HS Football... playoff wins = exposure

That's true, but for some of the sleeper teams - the only way they make it is on the back of their MVP - a lot of whom haven't gotten the exposure of players at more well-known schools or in the Dallas/Houston areas. I think you need to see how it plays out before making that call.
A worthy nominee- Matt Brown

most people don't use that site to back up any claims or arguments, simply because it sucks. not saying that johnson isn't worthy, but i'm implying that i'll use dave campbell's to wipe my *** rather than read.

I don't know how much of a leader he was, but Trey Williams seemed to be everything Dekaney had to offer.

Who are most people, because I know TX Football by D. Campbell is bigger than 5a TX Football. Just because you don't like or agree with what they say doesn't mean their wrong. Everybody is titled to their humble opinion.

Don't worry about him. He's been bitter for awhile now. He's an OU fan.
