D1 - R2
Dallas Skyline (10-0)
The Woodlands (10-0)
RR Stony Point (9-1)
Garland (9-1)
Desoto (8-2)
Cy Woods (8-2)
Spring Westfield (7-3)
Klein Forest (7-3)
and Tyler Lee who knocked off John Tyler.
Only North Shore, FB Hightower, and Cinco Ranch could tangle in D1-R2 and have a legitimate chance of surviving. JMO!

By not ranked, I mean not in the top 25.

Well there are only 25 spots on the ranking board. With that said if Katy taylor would have won district if they were in any other district in houston maybe other than hightowers. Houston Lamar is my dark horse for this region they are big and fast plus they won a houston district that was very competitive this year, and i think they very well could have been ranked on this site over a few teams that i think are over rated. Pearland is always a very tough out any year because of the talent they have. Not trying to take any thing away from other regions, just saying that region 3 isn't the slouch that most people say it is

I saw Katy Taylor play Seven Lakes, and umm.. no! Taylor would've been beaten by the Top 4 teams in 13-5A, 14-5A, and Houston Lamar (errr, actually they DID beat Taylor, 28-0). And Taylor would've had a hard time beating North Shore and West Brook, of 21-5A, Houston Chavez of 22-5A, Humble Atascocita of 19-5A, and FB Hightower of 23-5A.
Pearland was not good, this year, at all. There are people who said this was the worst Pearland team, in 10 yrs. That's bad! Having said that, Taylor would've struggled to beat Pasadena Memorial, Deer Park, and La Porte of 24-5A.
The only 3 contenders, from D1-R3 are FB Hightower, Cinco Ranch, and North Shore. Those are some damn good teams, no doubt. Hell, they could possibly win state. However, that Region is nowhere near being the toughest Region.
If I had to rank them...
1. D1-R2 (TWHS, RRSP, Skyline, Garland, Klein Forest)
2. D2-R1 (Allen, CHILL, Abilene, SLC, EP Coronado)
3. D1-R1 (Euless Trinity, Coppell, Arlington, Arl. Martin, Odessa)
4. D2-R2 (John Tyler, Lake Highlands, Klein, Klein Collins, Belton)
5. D1-R3 (FB Hightower, Cinco Ranch, North Shore, Lamar, BWB)
6. D1-R4 (Harlingen, SA Clark, Westlake, Judson, Bowie)
7. D2-R3 (Katy, Humble Atascocita, Pas. Memorial, Clear Springs, La Porte)
8. D2-R4 (Mission Sharyland, Pflugerville, PSJA North, New Braunfels, SA Brandeis)

I never said Cy Woods would beat Bowie. I'm saying Cy Woods would certainly be a test for Bowie. They're (Woods) no slouch, at all. Woods would hit Bowie in the mouth... and I would expect Bowie to hit them right back! It'd be a damn good game!
People seem to think the Houston AREA is weak. It's not. It's usually REGION 3! The Cypress, Conroe, and Klein districts have some pretty good athletes and teams. Add in Katy, Cinco, North Shore, FB Hightower, Lamar, and Pearland, on an annual basis, and the Houston area can make some noise. Problem is.. my kinfolk from DF-dub makes a bit more noise! :D

Alief Taylor finished 3rd in our district and honestly was on the brink of not making the playoffs... We ran all over Alief Taylor... Alief Taylor beat Katy Taylor... Therefore?
All though we never played Katy Taylor this year, if they couldnt beat 3rd place in our district (the weak one remember) how could u expect them to win our district?

Taylor played well below normal in that game. but yes i think they could have won your district. Memorial is no Cinco and Stratford is no Katy both teams which very well could have lost there games to taylor. So to answer yes i believe they would have won that district.

Well I guess what Im trying to say is lets say they are in our district... They already lost a game in our district (to Alief Taylor) and havent played the top two teams yet... The game we played Taylor we shut em down in the 2nd half and couldnt be stopped in the 2nd half... Not suggesting that we are Cinco or w.e... But they already lost a game in district - to a team that didnt come close to winning district (4-3 in district)... But if Katy Taylor is capable of claiming a bad game against Alief Taylor, I think we are capable (and I do believe it to be the case) that we played a bad game against them last year... But just hinting at such a thing resulted in a lot of flack by the katy posters
