Well, the Steelers were very sluggish in the first quarter and the Seahawks were doing good at that point. After halftime, things have just gone backwards for Seattle.

that pick off was really nice.
Wish he had not run out of gas. He had a really nice block thrown for him.

I saw were you can go to espn.com and vote for the MVP. Are the refs on the ballot. If not, they should be. They have made some of the cheapest calls I've ever seen in a game that absolutely killed Seahawk drives. If the Steelers hang on to win, the biggest winners will be the sports media. This is just what they wanted, especially for Bettis, since Detroit is home away from home for the Steelers. This entire Superbowl has been lame, from start to finish.

I agree. There were some bad calls.

Unfortunatly, the best thing about this whole super bowl expirence was a commercial. The one I am refering too is the one with the streaking lamb. That one was hilarious.

This was simply a terrible night for the NFL - forget the terrible towels - it was the terrible refs. Big Ben's qb rating was like 27 - Pitt did not have a first down inthe first qtr. Pitt's D was good - but the refs patheticness masked the fact Seattle was moving up and down the field all night.

Oh, one more thing - are the ROlling Stones still alive - man, that was sad too.

IMO, why can't the rolling stones finally decide its time to give it up?

I did enjoy seeing the HOF players of the past. Some have not changed at all.

That was the highlight of the night - unfortunately it is not without controversy either. Did you miss Joe Montana? Word out of San Fran is Joe wouldn't show up without an "appearance" fee. I haven't seen much on it yet - but it may become a big story. I also forgot Harvey Martin passed away - thus Randy White came out solo.

And Randy looked like he missed his partner too. Man he has changed. But it was good to see all of the boys that were there. Gave me chills watching some of them.

I heard that each player was given airfare, hotel, tickets and 1000 dollars in appearance fee. I heard that Montana wanted 100,000 dollars and Terry Bradshaw had a monetary excuse as well
