I like Country and Rap, but Country more, so I voted for country.

I know this has come up a lot already, but I put a poll on this one, with a lot more music choices. It seems its always between rap and country though.

In pretty heavy rotation on my mp3 player at the moment are Coldplay's X&Y and A Rush of Blood to the Head (I classify those as rock), Snow Patrol's Final Straw, U2's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, The Killers' Hot Fuss and some classics including Styx' The Grand Illusion, Metallica's Black Album (never leaves the rotation), The Smashing Pumpkin's Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here and The Wall.

That's a very odd taste of music you have there.

You left off Christian, so I went with country over pop.

My musical taste is all over the map. From Arcade Fire to George Strait to Swishahouse to 80s pop.

Hard rock is my favorite, including stuff that received little air play. Also like alternative, blues, jazz, classical, and upbeat country.
A lot of people have never heard of some of my favorite bands.

I like rap for the beats and I like how its gets you pumped.

I like country for the sound and the words.

I got the list from AOL Music, and I left off Latin, Gay/Lesbian (WTF IS THIS?), Soundtracks, and I combined Hard Rock and Classic Rock into Rock.

I'm a Rock/Alternative fan. Some of my favorite groups are System of a Down, Coldplay, and A Perfect Circle. But i'll basicly listen to anything besides country.

The reason I didn't put all the sub-categories is because you can only have 10 answer choices. Sorry fellas

I've liked Rock ever since I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan in '64. I consider Heavy Metal and Alternative as Rock. I don't know the correct reason why Alternative is called 'Alternative'. My guess is it's an alternative to Classic Rock. Like Billy Joel sung, "It's (all) still rock n roll to me".
