Potential Hall of Famers- Part 1

Wide had a good idea about the board maybe getting some potential Hall of Famers in the offseason and that might happen. The admins might consider making some more community veterans, too. We have 24 Hall of Famers and 54 Community Veterans right now, so keep that in mind when decding who should get in. I'll post two lists of 10 posters each that might be deserving of a promotion and you can vote on multiple people on each list and leave comments. Your votes will not be made public, so nobody will feel bad if you don't vote for them. I wish there wouldn't be any hard feelings among posters if I didn't list your name in the 20. If a person that you feel is very deserving of a promotion is left off my list, please submit justification and maybe we can make a third list. The 2 lists are in post count order and I'll send the final results to the admins and they can do whatever they want with the lists.

I will give justification for each of the 10 people in Part 1, but that doesn't mean I'll vote for all 10 and I won't be the first person to vote, either!:p

dragons08- He just posts and posts with over 9,000. He's a good-natured kid that has fun and adds a lot to the board.

mad_fan- You can pretty much sum him up as a goofball. He jokes around and has a lot of fun, but makes good posts when he TRIES!:D He's going to keep talking about naughty cheerleaders if you don't vote for him!

TexasFrog- Frog is a mainstay in College Football with almost 2K posts. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the forum.

dada4w- dada hangs out in off-topic a lot and has come up with some great posts including drinking gas straight from the pump!:D

SeguinMatadors- Seguin is always in off-topic, but he spent a lot of time talking about San Antonio football (until Judson shut him up!:p) this year. He was the Pimp of the Year until he gave his title to CoolestKidEver.

ThEgReAtOnE- He was the Rookie of the Year and came up with Survivor Football. His experience in the NFL was invaluable in him discussing HS, college, and pro football this year.

favpack- He has been a mainstay on the board ever since I came here and has always been a great Lufkin supporter.

garlandowl08- He has great school spirit and wore the Owl costume this year and is already talking about making it better for next year and maybe having a different one for the playoffs. He is regarded as a nice guy, too.

Texas Headliner- This guy has been around the block on here a time or two. He's a great poster and has a lot of knowledge. He does great work in off-topic, too. I bet Paul Wall and Mike Jones would vote for him!;)

primetime536- What really gets me is this guy knows trivia. You can always find him going back and forth with some heavyweights asking and answering questions.

I have to say Dragons08 is my top choice for the HOF, I mean hes coming up on his first year of posting, (im on my 1.5 mark) hes like a younger/more witty/less knowledgeable lonny, which is kinda a good thing. But I have to say the only down side to that, I would no longer be the youngest member in the HOF. Which is funny I dont feel like im 18, i feel much older and wiser then I did four months ago

I think that D08 should be considered as a HOF because he has done so well on this board as a rookie and he has a good knowledge of what he is talking about. He is one of the cool guys on the board. I like this kid because of his smarts and the coolness he brings to not only to the board but to the guys as well. D08 for HOF!

I agree with Hall of Famers being more exclusive. I voted for some people just because I think they should be a Community Vet, but I don't think we should just double the Hall of Famers at one time.

You're right. I'm approaching it with this attitude. We had a list of people and here's what the board thought. They're the one's that deem people Hall of Famers and not everybody will get selected.

Your constant posting and personality has caught my attention and all I can say is that i'm impressed by your showing as a rookie poster and I like what you have done for the guys here on the board and I have alot of respect for you as a member.
