We have redistricting coming up, and non district schedules being worked out.....what if (just suppose) SLC & Katy agreed to play for the next 5 years in Centerville, TX.....who wins the 5 game series, and why?

I don;t know what SLC has in it's program, so I will just speak for Katy.

There entire subvarsity went undefeated this year which has never been done. IMO There is more talent in the Katy program than ever before.

Oh and they have coach Joseph.

Also depends which week they play because Katy generally starts slow on offense.

I agree........those barbeque deer burgers will go through the roof and from what I hear, the crickets agree.
Those crickets in Waco were really just vacationing. Centerville is home.

So what would that look like...North Shore, Woodlands, SLC, FM Marcus and maybe the best that California or Florida can throw at us...hahaha...that would be a schedule but we still wouldn't have played anyone...:D

Acutally, if the redistricting holds up like they were saying at the beginning of the season we will have fewer pre-district games to worry about.

If they were pre-district games I would say SLC would win 3 out of 5 just because of the spread offense and Katy's slow to develope offense. It usally takes the DB's a little time to up to speed for a spread the caliber of SLC.

I saw an earlier post which showed wins for both of your programs for the last 10 yrs (I think) and only one win seperated you folks - thats pretty amazing...anyway, thats what started my thread. Just for the record, I'll take SLC 4-1

Katy would probably lose all 5 non-District games to Southlake only to be redeemed by beating the Dragons in the State Final those 5 years. :D

Thanks for warning me.

I don't post count but if it ever gets close to Lonny23's then I'll see a psychiatrist.

First, the agreement would only span an even number of years because of other scheduling issues. So there is the possibility of a tied series resulting. Second, Carroll will have some MAJOR rebuilding to do next season, since most of the starters from this season will graduate; few returning starters next season. Beyond that, Carroll, like Katy, has shown the ability to rebuild its program over time. Th JV team was fairly solid this year, but not undefeated. So I will give the edge to Katy the first year out of the box in this imaginary (thus far) confrontation. Beyond that, I see no reason to necessarily favor one team over the other.

I kinda leaning toward the Euless trinity method.....makem hard as hell for non District. Why not for our new Stadium in 2012 SLC and Katy back to back. Kinda like leading rabbits to the hole!!

Sounds like fun. You guys will have, for the time-being, the most pricey high school stadium in Texas and perhaps in the U.S. So it would be interesteing to check it out first hand.

as a tribute to the long porta-john history, i propose the eagles have a bronze potty on the visitor side, sans the aroma.

Very strong rumors around Cinco Ranch about CR opening the season against SLC on the road.

Why doesn't 17-5A just show up to Southlake for a month of non-district football. That way they can get two good games in (Cinco Ranch & Katy) and then get their typical 60 point win on the rest. Everyone's happy then.

i don't agree with the above post

katy will be stronger in 2011 than 2010.
2011 haack wil be a senior and the rb taylor will be a jr.
the o/l for 2010 & 2011 will be very stout.
lots of speed in the pipeline
