It has taken this long for me to recover from the Ranger's emotional loss to Plano last Friday so I am just now writing. Congratulations to Plano ,Plano West, Plano East, and Allen for making the playoffs. I really thought we were going to make it but we just didn't play well and Plano did what it took to win.

We are going to need coaching changes as well as better recruiting(wink) to make the playoffs in this district. Our freshmen team did win the district championship this year and was undefeated on the season so there is hope!!

If my bold predictions were off base it was just I wanted it to happen so badly. Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs as I prepare for basketball and soccer season.

I am sure the Freshman this year will be a great help to the Jesuit, High Octaine, College Level Offense, next year. We can all look forward to more bold predictions and a new state title contender.

I wonder which district JEsuit will be in next year.

Thanks for the hospitality Friday night, the atmosphere was what HS football should be!

Realignment occurs every two years. Districts may change, they may not. It depends on the UIL.

Two years ago, 8-5A included Richardson, LH, and Berkner. Four years ago, it was Flower Mound, Marcus, and The Colony

Realignment is usually pretty boring. The only time it really changes is when a number of schools move up or down or new schools open.

Well besides what Maroondog and WildcatFan2 said, it has been interesting for the Allen & Plano schools. One time in 9-5A which is Region 2 in the playoffs with Richardson schools (Richardson, Lake Highlands & Berkner). Then to 8-5A with the Lewisville schools (Lewisville, Flower Mound, FM Marcus) back to Region 1. Then back to 9-5A with Richardson schools again. And last time back to 8-5A with Wylie, Jesuit, & Boyd. So realignment is always interesting to see where you end up with and who with or with us being either 8-5A Region 1 or 9-5A Region 2. Some schools have lobbied, even though they deny saying it, UIL to get out of district with Allen & Plano schools (which are the largest schools in Texas) as they could never make the playoffs. Not sure if Jesuit will be doing this or not? Might give them a better chance? Or not since UIL forced them up to 5A anyway? I llike most our current district as not have to travel far but not sure if it will stay?

Tsk, tsk. Do not forget that Jesuit insisted they get into the UIL.

Thats my point they might not have much say with UIL since they insisted and see what UIL did to them. Put at 5A level and then two years ago realigned them with some of the largest schools in Texas. Do not think they have many friends on UIL. :D

Jesuit shoud go in a DISD district or maybe Carrollton or RISD?

Wylie may go in with Garland?

If 8-5A stays the way it is, I see the same scenarion as next year, except Jesuit will be fighting West for the last spot. Wylie and Boyd will be way down.

Will Wylie East play Wylie in non district next year? I would bet on East in that game.

Don't know where Jesuit might go, as "districts" with only a single high school are frequently moved around by the UIL to fill in as needed. But I would advise the UIL to split up the Plano schools and Allen into different districts with no more than two of them per district. I understand the UIL is loathe to do this, but it would go a great deal of the way to solving one of the more significant issues in the post-season DI-DII categorization (assuming such a split is retained.) A school of Jesuit's size would then not be placed in a district with four of these town-sized schools, just two of them.

 No more PCC if they did that. What would I do with my shirt? I am already looking to get 2009 added to it now. With your suggestion I would have to retire it? :(;)

Go Eagles undefeated PCC 2001-2003-2006-2007-2008-2009.:D

Would not want to see that happen. Certainly you guys could still play each other in non-district games. Those games, along with the one intra-district match would still qualify for the PCC. So be of good cheer!:D
