I don't know why mine is so big. I've tried making it smaller, but I can't.
I need to ask KT2000 why mine is so big...maybe he can fix it.
Thats what rocketgrl said.

They used a spy camera - I saw it on James Bond once.

Cool, as long as I stay focused on that dot the colors stay as soon as I move focus the color goes away. Wicked awesome!!!! Any explanations?

the color of the negative gets "burned" into your eye, so when the black & white is introduced, it adds another layer of "color" to the picture.
it's the basic concept of any digital picture. RGB (red green blue) layers + greyscale image = full color photo.

OK fair enough but why does it stay only as long as I focus on the dot. How does refocusing on something else reset my eye if you will? It is just cool how our bodies work.

as a digital imaging student, i understand HOW the images lock up, but i really don't know WHY.
if i had to assume, it would be something like the old school 3-D glasses. when the color from the first picture gets blazed into your eye, im thinking that it sets on top of the greyscale picture because you're focusing on the same spot, but once you shift (even slightly) the color memory is lost and it turns back into a greyscale image.
kind of like when you stare at a lightbulb, and get that nasty purple circle in your eye, just not as intense.
Looked to me like it flashed with color, then to black and white.

stay focused on the spot and just look at the picture in your periphery

I did it a few more times and I've noticed that the color did seem to start to fade right before it started over.
