I believe there should only be 2 teams out of each district that should make the playoffs. I know that some districts like 16-4A are deep and the bottom 2 teams that make the playoffs are better than top teams in other districts sometimes, but the regular season and district championship should mean something again. We have too many games that are a waste of time in the first round.

But Longview is the favorite and probably will win it. Its going to be a tough road though.

Dawg... I was not here at the time so I am only going on what I have heard from a few Waxahachie longtime faithful. Something about Waxahachie making a bad decision at the end of a playoff game. I sure Cove had its mistakes as well but it sounds to me like Waxahachie made the last one!

Longview deserves to get the most respect in this poll...

I can't wait until we play HP. IF we can get passed them, lookout! Waxahachie has a ton of speed. If we can execute, I like our chances.

I hope I'm not the only one that's shocked by that scoreline. While I definitely thought Sherman would be the team in the 3rd round for Longview (if they were lucky enough to get there), I had no thought of Carter struggling against a DISD team.

On the Longview/Whitehouse game, while it could've been worse, it also could've been a lot worse. I don't want to complain since they did put up 52 points and won it 52-9. But we definitely need a better start and better consistency. Pretty much the same thing I've been saying all season.

Defense did look very good though after they made adjustments. Time to hit the practice field before next week's big match up.

last night while I was getting the updates via text. was a bit upset.a win is a win but I din't expect it to be so close. the good thing is that if the cowboys came into the game thinking blowout...they were proven wrong. and shouldn't ever take an opponent lightly, DISD or otherwise.

CC led 23-7 then 30-13.....but samuell wouldn't quit(good for them)
honestly you can't expect to turn the ball over 3 times and continue to advance deep. this is my team but averaging 3 fumbles(and not recovering them) is unacceptable. they rushed for 367 I believe and 0 pass yards on 3 attempt!:mad::mad: unreal.

if we don't get it together, we know how the story goes.
