21-5A is a little dissapointing, I wanna know yalls take on it.

We have maybe 2 teams with deep playoff potential... HUM and PAM..Humble and Baytown Lee have the better history for playoff appearnces but latley baytown has been a dissapointment, im my opinon HUMBLE and PAM are the top two..

I don't know I think 21 may be just a bit better than 22 will be. At least there you have two who could make a semi deep playoff run where in 22 you really only us(North Shore) with a real chance of making a deep run.

i guess your right...But still i hate to see such an easy schedule...i wouldnt mind NS and Humble playing a preseason game...Somthing to battle test us.

If we get a good coach in I dont see any reason why we shouldn't go at least 8-2 next year. We got mostly all the defense back so......

Depending on how the brackets will go come playoff time we could be lookiing at a North Shore vs. Humble game in the first round. Which would be cool as the two have a bit of playoff history.

Unless you get a extremly difficult non-distict schedule like yall did this year...yall are easily the 2nd best team in the district..

baytown lee:....not having a good couple of years
Batwon sterling:...who knows.
BWestbrook: Are they for real?
Humble: 11 out of 12 years in playoffs..always have been a power house in there own district, also seem to produce alot of d-1 players.
kingwood: lets not even go there...No coaches..and no talent..
PAM: Latley a very impressive squad, kind of inconsistant. like spring was in 22-5a showed up when they wanted to.
Channel view: Hmmm...dont know what to say.
Humble atascosita: i think scooter will agree...not a good coach.

Man, I agree. PAM had talent and size but no coaching. How many returning?

You need not worry about Channelview one bit. There were a very bad 4A team so there is no way they are going to be any better as a 5A team. The only time they"ll make noise in the district is once the pads are put away and the big round ball or the little white balls are brought out. In simple terms they're not a football school.

with Westfield and Spring gone to a new district now, Humble should win this district for the next two years in football.

I think the four playoff schools from this district will be Humble, Atascocita, PAM and West Brook.

Humble will lose a lot of their underclassmen to Atascocita, but I think they will have enough returing talent to win the district. Atascocita should have enough talent to get at least three to four district wins and with the UIL going to four playoff teams in 5A, they should make it.

Westbrook had a breakthrough season last year after being the previous district whipping boy, and they will bring back enough talent plus good coaching to challenge Humble for the district crown.

PAM is at a crossroads right now. Dean Colbert left for Atascocita, and the price of admission for that game between those two should be worth it. Port Arthur is having serious problems with theri educational system, with the school board firing the superintendent for "subordination" and with the parents and communtiy in an uproar thinking their one high school system should be on par with Southlake Carroll, Pearland and other one system high schools....I dont think they have a new coach in place yet, but they have enough athletes, provided the get the right coaching , to get a playoff spot.

The Baytown schools are pretty much a "W" on the schedule. Lee was a previous playoff contender, but suffered a 1-9 year last season, but with a weaker district, they may be back in the hunt. Sterling will compete for the district cellar with Channelview and Kingwood.

The D will have to carry us cause the "O" will be very young.
