Saw this on another site, Looks like the recruiting trail has finally been opened in the valley.

No knock on this kid.....but I would like to see how he would fair outside the Valley.

you know, the RGV isnt as bad as ya'll think....its the SanAntonio teams that are just that good.....

and as far as LEVEL OF COMPETITION....thats what they said about Jamaar Taylor from Mission..... he's a NY Giant in the NFL....bye the way

Hopefully recruits aren't required to attend "Spend a Night with the Corps"...I think that is why most aggy recruits didn't commit. They were frightened.

RGVBadBoy - I've seen both Stephens and Taylor play in HS and to say that Stephens makes Taylor look like a JV player is a joke. Taylor was every bit as good as Stephens and was bigger and more physical. Stephens is good, no doubt. But I think he stands out in the valley because of his competition. If he were in Dallas or Houston, he would have a tougher go of it. He wouldn't be running away from people so easily.

If he were in Dallas or Houston, he would have a tougher go of it. He wouldn't be running away from people so easily.
Jamaar was GREAT.....he played on a team with LOTS OF STUDS....i thinkj 4 signed DivI that season....YES FROM THE RGV!!!! i ran track against Taylor....he wasnt as fast as Stephens, though Taylor was fast....Bradly has REAL SPEED, he's NOT as big as Taylor your right...but he is FASTER...more explosive and has better vision...Taylor was and is GREAT...but Bradly is a BIT higher in my book, because of the FACT that Stephens HAS BEEN PLAYING on a MUCH LESS talented team than Taylor...

Saying Bradly makes Jamaar look like a JV player WAS WRONG OF ME...but Bradly is MORE IMPRESSIVE THAN TAYLOR WAS...and Taylor was GREAT...

OH....and IF Bradly played for a REAL team, like Judson or SmithsonValley....FORGET IT!!!! he'd be even MORE IMPRESSIVE!!!! lets NOT forget....Jamaar Taylor ran a 4.49 for Scouts at A&M.....Bradly ran a 4.41 for scouts at the US Army Combine.. AS A JR!!! so YEAH, Stephens WOULD run away from Kids in Dallas TOO...maybe NOT as EASILY....but just the same

yeah maybe i should take a road trip to his house and see if i can get him to dawn the diamond J.... strictly for academic purposes i assure you :)

yea i know, he probably is very good but he is playin against scrubs

well this scrub is gonna go D1 and be put together with other D1 scrubs then will see..the valley has just been overlooked and is very widely spread..but times are changing..recruiters are starting to look more down here..next season the valley might be in store for one of the biggest recruit class its had in a long while.
