I dont know the right saying for this, but I will share a story I thought was awesome.
Tonight me and one of my close friends went to a Gary P Nunn concert. During one of his songs I mentioned to my buddy what I wouldn't give to hear ghostriders. After I mentioned to my friend I told him that ghostriders is not asong that Gary P would do. So I go to the bar and get me 2 more beers, as I sit down, he finishes London Homesick Blues, he then goes onto a spill about Jerry Jeff and Willie and Johnny Cash. Not 2 minutes later he breaks out in a familar cord and I knew right then what it was, however a few seconds later the rest of the crowd knew what it was. My buddy looked at me and was like I guess you got your wish. Gary P Nunn's version is nothing compared to Willie or Johnny but it was awesome to hear that song by another Texas song writing legend.

If you talk to him, he sounds real Texan and that kind of catches you off guard since he has been around Massachusetts quite a bit.

It reminds me of a postcard I have. A Texan in a cowboy hat and somebody from Massachusetts are standing in front of the Alamo. The Yankee says, "We have heroes in Massachusetts, too. Have you ever heard of Paul Revere?" The Texan says, "Isn't he that guy that had to go run for help?":p

No, you don't have an Northern accent. You sounded like a Texan. You sounded pretty coherent for somebody who was wasted. Are you a professional?:p

That explains why you're always talking about who you're going to see in concert.

No I dont have the northern accent but I dont havea Texas accent either. Which is why people have to ask a lot of times where I am from.
Of course when I have been drinking they usually say your from down south when I open my mouth.
Lets just say as far as the drinking goes, I've been around the block a few times. I can handle my beer with the best of them, I had been drinking since around 9PM that night. I split 4 pitchers at the bar with a friend of mine and came home and polished off a 12 pack.

yup. Not many people play ghostriders and you guys do such a great job. It doesn't hurt that it is great song and a great song for a band to play. I like your rendition of eye of the tiger and 1000 dances is cool, but to me nothing beats ghostriders. To tell you the truth I could do without hey baby

I didn't see drumline, but most of the songs that earth wind and fire play would be perfect for the marching band.

I wouldn't think you were very high on the ladder because you refuse to play some songs, don't practice when you're at home, and probably talk more than you play during band practice!:D

I knew you didn't practice because you're always on here and you talk about going outside to play football. Why don't you play football and quit the band? Are you secretly Stifler's brother at Band Camp?:D
