I dislocated my finger last night playing flag football. Funsies. Trip to the hospital, big needle, splint, and it's still not done cause there's a bone fragment in the joint.

I was about 10 feet away from an offensive lineman that dislocated his knee in flag football. One of our guys intercepted a pass and when the lineman pivoted to chase him, there went his kneecap to the side. It looked terrible.
The worst thing that has ever happened to me in flag was pulling both hamstrings this year.

I broke my right middle finger last season, played through it. Not a good idea for a goalie. It still hurts most of the time.

fail. At least you can blame it on an injury to your top player, right?

fail. At least you can blame it on an injury to your top player, right? We play for fun mostly. We don't have pre-drawn plays or anything. We run the "Get Open" offense and "Pick a Man/Woman" defense.

very nice. I was thinking about reffing the flag football, but couldn't do it and soccer... Do people take it really seriously?

oh my gosh yes.
especially fraternities.
i played in the open league this year, and there was one team that nobody liked, had a bad sportsmanship rating, and they had their own playbook and wristbands with the plays on them...and they got knocked out in the first round. it was nice to see.
i reffed my freshman year, and it's intense, especially playoffs and at the end of the regular season.

we need a benchmark. How many fights per night of games?

Do people take it really seriously? You'd be surprised how many people in the Co-Rec C-League (the one we're in) take it seriously. The team we played yesterday had a full playbook and their whole team knew all their plays.

Cutters are your friend. Wear them.

good luck with the surgery!
Some rivalry fraternity (club) games and championship games here at ACU will get close to 500 or more in attendance, especially Gamma Sigma Phi vs. Galaxy. Gamma Sigma Phi, usually the best at intramurals, brings trash cans, train and air horns, metal pipes, and everything else loud you can think of to games and bangs on them when the other team is on offense. Flags, costumes, and signs are norm. they have a full playbook, jerseys (not just t-shirts), and practice daily. other frats do alot of the same. so its a pretty big deal around here

that sucks dude!
we were playing tackle football a month or so ago and my friend dislocated his finger. Stood up, looked at it, showed everyone, popped it back in and kept playing :laugh
but you can't do that with all of them.
