Both Fuda's should be exceptional. During the playoffs lil fuda was helping out with the scout team until Dalton found out he likes to throw to him just as much as his older bro. Little Fuda could work on his straight run speed(4.6's and 4.7's) but his cuts and agility are amazing for his age(11.1 agility with a good skill player usually hitting 11.7). Dean will be back of course but he does have weak ankles. If he does get hurt, expect Hunter to double on offense and defense or a jr to step up, unless one of the small sr rb's(both under 130 at this point) are able to take the hits. The defense has solid returnees across the board, 1 DL, 3 Lb's, and 2 Db's. Oh and don't forget that Mitchell has an arm so watch for him at Qb, but don't expect anything great or even mediocre at first. It will most likely take him a week or two up on the V-squad to get used to it, he's jumping up from the sophomore team.

yeah, it does suck that we don't get a valid challenge untill the playoffs. Well other then A&M and the woodlands, and our district is way to easy.

Your going to have a big problem with the outstading defense and offense from both A&M And the Woodladnds next year

is fuda coming back
I think he is, I don't think he can challenge the eligibility rule quite yet, this is just high school guys :p ... SR LB's Montgomery & Williams also. JR LB Brad Graham will do something as well he showed potential in the state game when put in surprisingly he stepped up. Expect something from LB Aaron Cotton who had some good stuff on the JV level last year. The D will be stout in my opinion if they get the secondary starters down, it is still uncertain. The O will be pretty good no matter what is being said about Mitchell, he has good WRs to throw to in Knauss, M. Fuda and J. Fuda. RB... Dean is no question he will wreck the field next year!

I think we are forgetting the most crucial aspect..... the offensive line. Yes I know, it's Katy..the Tigers always have good hawgs, but not a SINGLE player with varsity experience coming back(I don't remember the last time that has happened at Katy), that may set the Katy offense back for awhile untill they can gel. Those hawgs better be busting their butts this offseason and going into spring ball VERY hungry or else this 2005 Tigers won't be going anywhere.

Katy will have a big year...There are a lot of underclassman that no one has heard of that will becime Katy household names. Bobby Knauss is one. the O-line will be great. Comparing them to the 2005 team is a big mistake, not that they won't be as good, but the fans have to give them some growing room to make mistakes.
SLC is in the same boat, so it should be fun to watch.

ok to clear up some of the run game question, aundre will probably be the starter, with tyler lewis (4.54 40) and jared stover (the agile one ,dont remember the 40) bringing up the rear. tyler is the sprinter of the group, if you dont catch him within 10 yards you wont catch him. he's small though, and so is stover. the receiving game will be well taken care of too, with both fudas, brian rowe, daniel kurtian, and brandon hopkins. bobby knauss. all are excellent recievers. the defensive back field will be pretty good. sammy sheldon, james thrash, dareen murray, trent hunter, and terrence henery will have it covered. the only real possibility for a weak spot could be the defensive line , we have excellent starters but it doesnt run to deep after them. also tightends, if the tightends can step it up i believe the runn game to the outside will be covered.
No offense but you got alot of it way wrong, Aundre WILL be the starter. Both Tyler Lewis and Jair Stover are under 130lb's, Aundre is also the fastest one so im pretty sure hes the hardest to catch not Lewis. Ill be surprised if Tyler and Jair gain 400 yds in the whole season together. Darren Murray and Thrash won't get so much playing time. The starting DB's will probably be Cory Baysinger, Trent Hunter, Terrence Henry, and supposebly Jared Fancher who as of right now is a freshmen. Oh and Sammy Sheldon is now a LB.

Actually I wish the District was harder so every one on the team would take it more seriously so something like 04' A.Taylor doesnt happen.

Agreed, AZ.
The quality of play on the football field will be what earns playing time, not 40/100 or agility times. None of that means much if it doesn't translate on the field and to varsity football.
Obviously, preparation for the new season began last month and will continue for the next several. At this point, it's tough to guarantee much in the way of a depth chart and I think the competition that can generate is a healthy thing.

As they have done for years, the Katy coaching staff will field an excellent team next fall and they should have not trouble with their district. Even if they have new kids in the O-line, over the course of the season those kids will mature. Come playoff time Katy will be brutal again. They may lose a game or two, but look out at playoffs.

I don't think thebiggestfan should be talking crap about a team as established as Katy. Especially after that 30-6 tail kicking six months ago. Where were those speedy DBs when Fuda was racing down the sideline?
By the way are you the one that drives the ridiculous mini-van with the Scottish hat on top.

So who are the starting Db's going to be next year..I saw that two soph's last year played alot .. i think there names were trey hunter and terrance henry...correct me if im wrong please..

Trent Hunter (FS) and Terrence Henry (CB) played a lot. This year, look out for Cory Baysinger (6'1-6'2 170, one of the best all around athletes in the program). The kick coverage units should be very good again. That much is clear to me at this point looking at what is coming back.
