I agree or Thursday would work too but Jesuit stadium is a little on the small side.;)

Seems to be a toss up to me, Plano had two weeks to prepare and Jesuit pulled off a win over Boyd in OT. If momentum carries to the following week I would say Jesuit has a slight edge, but not sure that ever holds true. Good luck to both teams and may the officials let the players decide the out come of this one.:)

I think Allen fans would love a shot at SLC.

NEVER ! ! ! ! ! !

They pulled down our panties and spanked us good 3 of the 4 meetings.

I'm excited about playing in either bracket. they both have VERY interesting
matchups for the kids.

We'll all know come Friday night baby !

Yes that's right I can see the future and the future has Allen playing Carroll in round two and winning the game!!

I know the future, I'm psychotic!! :D

You did lose your starting QB in one of them, a tough loss early in the game. Not sure it would have effected the eventual outcome, but would have made it a lot closer. ;) This year Allen, coming off of a state championship, has to be considered the favorite. If it all comes about, it could be a game for the ages, along the lines of 2006 SLC/ET. This is what we live for, right? The big game....

Looking forward to it.

Trainin' The Game.....I can tell from your post you are full of bull s))(*!
I say lets roll the dice!! SLC has completely ripped Allen the last 5 meetings? Let's roll'em again.

2 great teams, 2 great coaches, 2 great programs. 1 already has a dynasty and the other would like to build one. I heard the game could be in a great location (although not confirmed yet)

do some analytics, buy some blonde spray paint ( and green) and roll the dice!! This could be great!!;)

Actually 3 out 4 times our starting QB went out of the game, last one was early.

I think most Allen fans really do not care, DI or DII. DII is a chance to beat up on SLC and DI is rematch with Trinity, both are very intreging...toss up which sounds like the most fun.;):D

You are a SLY little Dragon sir.;)

You know, That year that Nathan Dick went out with

possibly beat y'all. The D was soft, but the O was just
incredible.

When Gambill picked off Riley's pass in that first series
I thought we might just have something. Then the LB
P______n snagged that ball and ran it back. Sad, very sad.
It was a long day with the 2nd string QB with deer in the headlights
running around not knowing what it crap tp do.

It was always fun to play y'all. It was a schoolin', but fun.
A great atmosphere in TS with the big bands, pageantry, etc.

Another round would be DELICIOUS, but we'll leave our fate in
the hands of the Catholics and the Wildcats.:D

I'm scared either way . . .

Don't know if it means anything...but a certain starting QB's family that I happened to be sitting near at the Jesuit game seemed a little concerned at the prospect of Allen going into DII. Maybe they've changed their minds since then...I dunno. Chalk it up in the hearsay category.

I just don't think there is ANY WAY that we could defeat SLC.
I mean, they have our "eternal number", don't they ?

I know Obama promised CHANGE, but could he possibly deliver

Did you change your name to.....Colleyville? :D

But seriously, we know what a team you have and will be pleased to have competed with the best. We'll both have to work hard at who is the best at being humble over the next few weeks.;)

But there are two games in between, and anything can happen. Best of luck. If we don't match up (meaning you go DI), then yes, the ET/Allen game would be special.

You are absolutely right.

It would be a magical weekend.

Last year was supposed to be the toughest road to the D1 deal.

What was that about Catholic girls, oh Never Mind. I guess I should know, I married one!!

Focusing back on the Pirates... I wonder what got into them last week to put a whoopin on West like they did. I don't buy the fact that West just rolled over. I am wondering who was QB if Noah was playing Tight End??

Not that I am worried about winning this game but this one needs to be injury free especially for the starters.

As for Plano vs Jesuit, I think the rangers will be able to dig very deep on D and find a way to slow down the wildcats but then again the wildcats D will do the same thing. I just don't think it's gonna be a high scoring affair.

Yes, its as average as most of the other districts in the metro mess. Not 8-5A/9-5A norm for the last 10 years as the toughest district. 6-5A seems to be the only district with any competition. Seems to be a down year in all the districts with one team dominating each district. Not much competition in each.

It's a statement of opinion.

If 8-5A is a joke this year, then 9-5A is trash.

8-5A has 2 teams that are going through district pretty easily. Outside that, every team can compete with every team.

9-5A has 1 team that is good, and then 4 teams that can competed with each other... and 3 teams that couldn't kill a drugged rat.

Of course it is.

A few of us were just wondering why you felt it neccessary to blurt that out at what seemed like a rather random time? I mean it's not like that wasn't obvious to even the most casual observer!! (my wife)

Now, as you can see by the post of kind man from Wylie you have exposed yourself and your district to the warm sunny air of critical evaluation.

So if you would like to start a District thread we would all be just so happy to post our opinions of your district there. :)

Allen vs. Wylie - Allen does it again. Allen goes easy on their starters protecting them for the playoffs. Wylie will put more points on the Eagles than other teams have, but Allen will always be in control.
Allen 56 - Wylie 35

Plano East vs. McKinney Boyd - The battle of who cares! (Wow! I can't believe I said that:eek:) Last week the Broncos had a mathematical chance of still making the playoffs. Jesuit crushed that dream and now Boyd's ready for basketball seaon to start. East coming off a loss to Allen want the momentum of a win going into the palyoffs.
PESH 42 - Boyd 28

Plano vs. Jesuit - As I stated in another thread, Jesuit plays with a lot of heart, but Plano is a stronger and deeper team and that's what puts points on the board. Even though I have a personal bias for Jesuit, I think Plano takes this one in a commanding fashion.
Plano 42 - Jesuit 31

Please be kind when you do your Wylie/Allen video this year. The last 2 years, there's only 2 plays that stick in my head because of your fabulous job at slow motion, and inserting sound bites... Unfortunately they were good plays for Allen.

This will be the last game at home for their seniors. They will play inspired ball. Allen better come out and play well in the first quarter. You dont want them to gain any confidence and still have a chance in the latter stages.

I don't think our starters have played more than the first half since the Trinity game??? Maybe rotating 1 or 2 in out with 2nd & 3rd string just to get enough playing time. Hope it doesn't hurt too much in the playoffs but have seen development of some of the other kids, so good in that respect.

I think PESH takes out their frustrations from last week on Boyd, sorry Broncos you're in for a rough night.

Still not sure who wins the Plano@Jesuit game or who I want to see win as DI and DII looks about the same? Just do not want to see either not be able to play next week because they try to hard to win this one.

I think Plano will be in a better position to represent 8-5A in the first round. This week they're coming of the bye, and Plano is bigger in size and in number. Jesuit only has about 47 avg sized varsity players, and there's a lack of depth once you get past the starters. They were in a dog fight last Friday, and will be in another tonight. Should Jesuit win the day (beat Plano), I suspect they'll be one and done the following week. If they get there... I hope they prove me wrong!
