View Full Version : I SAW UFO's!!!

AT THE CP GAME TONIGHT!!! they were in the east sky just above the tree line.. moving slow across the sky. they would come and go but always in the same area... FREAKY!!!

NOO I sat and watched them for like 10 mins they did like circles and shapes in sky. then stayed in place. then changed in numbers most was 5 least was 2... the planes that went by you can see the white lights flashing on them. the ufo lights didnt have the flashing lights :ninja: :eek:

Well when an airliner is say, 15-20 miles away and coming directly toward you all you see is the headlight and no blinking. Airliners were landing into the west tonight at Houston Bush so this may be a likely explanation.

im telling the truth!!! they were not planes!! they seem to be staying in place. the lights made a 5 light circle, 4 light square, 3 triangle, 2 light circle motion, 3 light straight line, then fade in and out... :ninja:

F18, what is going on down at Ellington Field right now? I had to make a trip down to League City today and at about 5:30 there were lots of warbirds circling. I saw a group that looked like a heritage flight with and F18, an A-10 and what looked from a distance like an AT6. Also saw a big Antonov.

Probably getting ready for the Wings over Houston Airshow which takes place 10/31-11/1.

Which Antonov was it? Could you tell? Was it the -124 or -225?

Couldn't tell for sure, but I doubt that the one 225 in the world was in Houston today. Maybe though.

Most likely a -124. The -225 is probably too busy to stop at an airshow for a couple of days. Although, she was in IAH earlier this month.

No Antonov at this airshow. There was a Boeing C-17 Globemaster II that did an aerial demo and heritage flight with a C-47. I guess the Globemaster gives the appearance of being one of the Antonov jets. I haven't seen an Antonov at Ellington since the couple of weeks following Hurricane Katrina. I see a lot of what goes into the field because I live in the flight line.

Here is a good place to view what is happening at this airport and others. Type KEFD for Ellington Field's traffic. No military on this, but there are NASA flights that you can track.
