It's the offseason, so let's talk about something different. We all get hungry during games and walk on down to the concession stand. Now in terms of prices and how good the food is, what are some of the best concession stands you all have been to? I would have to say Beeville a couple years ago. That was the best Mexican food I had in a long time! The Alamodome was alright, but rather expensive. Any other notably good places?

Floyd Caseys lines moved extremely fast, and the food was great IMO!

The best thing about the concession stands at Shotwell here in Abilene is the television monitors they installed so you won't miss any of the game while getting your super nachos and Dr. Pepper.

Any concession stand is good if you are hungry. Doesn't matter the look of the stand if the food is good.

Seed and spit...try not to hit anyone in front of me, or around, depending on what the wind is doing.

You know the season can't come soon enough when there is a thread on concession stands. What's next? Which stadium has the best lights?

You know your gonna have sunflowers growing in your stomach right?
hahahhaaa...
My grandmother got me with that one, when I was about 7 years old.
I ate a watermelon seed and she told me it was gonna grow in my stomach.
I started crying....

While I haven't been to one of their home games in several years, Aledo used to cook up some really good hamburgers at their games.

LOL, the forum got pretty boring for me so I decided to start a thread we all can relate to.

Haha I like that. Our Concession Stand in Rose Stadium (16,000 seats) has recently been remodled or made it bigger last year for 1 million dollar.

I always eat the whole thing and I don't know why because I see everyone spit it out at baseball games when I was playing.

You can watch it on tv or just look out onto the field and you can still see the game. That is what makes it cool. Four concessions in all four corners of the stadium and you can see the field or just watch it on tv at each stand.

Yep...I liked that about it.
I usually don't go to the concession stand because
it makes you miss the game. But at WISD you can stand in line
and still watch it.That's cool.

What's the point in TVs if you can still see the game from the concession stand?

Sometimes you can't see the field clear because of the fans standing in those areas blocking the view.
