Edit for those that can't believe it, yes I mean 19 kids from Ike signed today to play college ball. Football. I'm not saying D1, maybe a lot of Juco, but that's a huge number.

That may have been your first game, but we beat them in Week 1 - 50-0. They had 0 offensive rushing yards on the night, a long one for Ike. If Lufkin had 19 players going on to play college ball I think we could beat SFA.

Yes this is very very hard to believe. They were horrible this year. They had negative total yards and 0 points vs Lufkin. Either they have some great div2 and juco connections or this is garbage. Mister Alexander was the only div1a recruit i saw.

I was thinking exactly the same thing! Even if they had 1/2 that many sign letters to play college ball, they should've been a dominant team in 5a this year!

This was/is bunk information. Ike had two players who signed letters of intent yesterday, according to the Houston Chronicle, DB Mister Alexander, who will play LB in college signed with Florida St and one of their defensive lineman signed with Blinn.

Now, unless they had a boatload of players who received 1-AA, D-II, D-III or NAIA offers outside of Texas, the Houston Chronicle didnt report that, but I dont think a 3-7 team can sign 19 players, yet alone 5.

John Tyler has 8 and Tyler Lee has only 2 (Terrible!).
