Impressive list. Yall finally beat Lufkin in something that had to do with football. ;) Been a while! :p Nah, i knew yall would have more this year. Had a very talented senior team while Lufkin was young.

That sound you are hearing....is the sound of t-shirts being made as we speak.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! i can see it now. Longview div1a's 5 Lufkin div1a's 3

Next year Lufkin should have an absolute ton of div1a athletes. Maybe more then their record of 7 div1a's in 2003? A few of the Lufkin kids had grade or SAT problem's this year and could not go div1a.

Naaah...they would never do that...
That would be as meaningless as putting a scrimmage score on your t-shirt:eek:

2 years in a row baby! LOL. Just playing.

Longview and Lufkin both have absolutely an unbelieveable number of talented players on their teams every year. No reason they shouldn't be getting these type of numbers signing to places.

Any more news on the Longview @ Lufkin game since we both have 5 non district games?

BTW, Calvin Jackson also signed with Oklahoma Panhandle State University making that 13 Lobos that signed.

Longview did not beat Lufkin in recruits last year? I know they did not have more div1a recruits.

There was a good article about Malcolm Kelly trying to create a pipeline to Oklahoma for future players at Longview. Seems that Longview doesn't really have a University that they consistently go to. Kinda like you could call Lufkin's pipeline A&M.

As much as it kills me, at least they would be going somewhere other than back to Byrdsong Street.

Hey, I bet M Kelley is eating his words after what happened last year in College football. Didn't he say that he changed his mind from Texas to OU because they win National Championships??

No...he said that he always knew that it wasn't for him after his trip to Austin and Mack Brown acted like he had better things to do. He's said he only kept considering it because of his brother's ties to the University. He also questioned their usage of Roy Williams. He made a good decision. An immediate impact on a team as an 18 year old freshman. OU will be back next year.

I agree. I don't blame him for going where he will be used. Texas is just stacked with talent and Malcolm might not have started for two years.
