now this isn't your typical gamer thread like you may think, it's more of a how it can benifit you. Sure i know many of us are sick and tired of new sytems coming out and spending more money year in year out, but how can buying one on the day it comes out benifit us? Ebay, pay pal, amazon ring a bell, probably the most thought of sites when we want to sale somthing, this past year when the Xbox 360 released people paid over $1000 for them some people even weird enough paid $200 for just the box, and no i don't mean the sytem box i literally mean the box the merchandise came in. So with the playstation 3 and nintedno revolution coming out you may wounder why should i care about these im to old or i dont have the money. Fact most gamer's did not purchase an xbox 360 for the soul reasson that they are waiting for a ps3, ever since the arival of the nintendo 64 in 1995 people
have been going crazy for game sytems and have paid ridiculous amount's of money for one every time a new sytem comes out. So now to cut all this Bs past history on Ebay selling new sytem's that came out. Play station 2 $1000+ Game cube also 1000+ xbox 800+ xbox 360 just over 2000k and with the highly anticipated ps3 prices for this online are set to exceed over the 3000k mark for somthing only 300$ in other word's folk's. Dont be ashmed to camp out side of walmart or best buy or wait crazy amount of hr's to get one when you can sale them on ebay for 5 times what they are worth or even more dont know about you folk's but when the time comes i got 4 on pre order and and can't wait to sale them :P but i may be nice and sale one on here for regular store price :cool:

you can preorder them from some places but seeing that your from SLC near dallas you will have more choices than me going to the local game crazy... I went to austin for 3 of them but im using the money for college and stuff.

You can pre order them but the way most places work it's a first come first serve so it's possible that you get one but youd have to wait like 2 mounth's for the next shipment the way alot of them are going to work is, they ship them in but then places like game crazy Eb game stop send them to all the preorder's first which is usually over a 100 in my guess then after they get them off they start selling them to public, but i may like i said sale one here if kt let's ,me XD but it would be a regular price and everything im not going to garuntee this so don't expect oh ill just buy mine of foxy boy but yea if you can get a preorder go for it.

I wish the public would get back at scalpers. I know it will never happen because we want stuff too bad. I think it would be the greatest thing in the world if scalpers had to eat sports tickets, XBox's, and all that other stuff they buy just to sell for a profit. The quickest way to prevent scalping is not to make it illegal, but to not buy the tickets.

That's what the toy companies do at Christmas. They've done it for everything from Barbie to Tickle Me Elmo.

Actually its about the same prices plus the processor is alot more powerful it uses the best of the blue tooth and is back wards capable + much more

Of course the ps3 has online play there differences is u dont require a cable or phone modem to get on its blue tooth capable the same thing that makes our cell phones get online so aka wireless internet.

That what makes a system unique aside from what it can do also the games on it, now think if playstation Xbox and nintendo all had the exact same games all you would have to do is get the one that came out first and forget the others. That's why all systems have exclusive games nintendo has mario donkey kong zelda playstation has meteal gear silent hill xbox has halo.

Actually the new nintendo revolution actually does seem pretty interesting, i herd one of it's feature is that you can down load games on it from nes snes n64 game cube game boy virtual boy etc, practically think of it as a big emulator

isnt sony supposed to come out with online capabilities that rival that of microsofts. online play for the ps2 has never been as good as the xbox, but is it supposed to get better for the ps3?

yea sony is suppose to upgrade there online play ps2 wasn't really set for all games the only game that i say can rival any of the Xbox's online play is probably final fantasy online, but the online abilities for the psp were amazing so ps3 would have to shoot somthing up there but i don't know much about it at the moment

Oh boy, another video system to hear about constantly from my son! How many of these things do we have to have - his room looks like NASA as it is and he doesn't even live in it! He's in a dorm and I won't allow him to have anything other than the PSP up there. Gosh, what did we boomers do for fun since we didn't have these and only 3 or 4 TV stations? Oh, that's right, we rode bikes and played sports and went swimming and stayed outside for 16 hours out of the day! AND we didn't have "video thumb" syndrome.

Yea i can see where you going with video games it's money it's a new upgrade every so many year's but unless they know enough about computers to run Emulators or go to pirate sites and make a replica there just stuck with what we have now, aside from that video games are used for training and infact in some studies have been proven effective in physical activity and educational purposes due to strong interest that many have in them so they're not that bad
