I just heard from my brother. I'm moving to Georgia.
I sent over my resume' to a shop there and they called right up and hired me over the phone (my resume's speaks for itself).
And we'll for sure be able to get the contract with my company for out there. So I'm going over there as fast as I can and starting to work at the shop and then will start the process of actually getting the contract in my hand so we can start doing that.
hurray.

never fear. I think enough of you peeps to where I'll still come around here and stir the pot. Plus, I plan to be in Louisiana for large parts of December. Meaning I'll be right next door to Texas. Meaning I'll get to come and watch some playoff/championship game(s). if everything goes as planned anyway. haha

Good luck to you. Yeah, my resume speaks for itself, too. It mostly says "he's way overpaid."

Congratulations! You're going to miss good Mexican food and Texas Bar-b-que, but I'm sure farmer can be your guide to all things Georgian!

Damn. Well ok then. I never thought you were actually going to move to Georgia when you spoke of it in that other thread. But, since you are, I wish you well sir. I used to live there and it's a very beautiful state. Outside of Texas, it was my favorite place I lived.
Dont be a stranger and you have my cell number, so make sure you stay in touch. I never got to go to Shreveport and see an ECA game with you, so that sucks and you wont be here to see Carroll win the state title this December and that too sucks.
Like I said, stay in touch bro.:)
