4 QBs are committed to Baylor? Its a shame those kids will have to stand in line to have their talent wasted.

Texas over the last few years has started to take the "Name" of the QB State.
Since High school coaches in Texas started to adopt the Pro-style (West coast) and spread offense. The QB quality and quanity in the State of Texas has exploded.
Texas has always had a lot big strong "power arm" type of kids. In the 70's, 80's and early 90's these kids would of been playing LB's, DB or Wr. Now many of them are playing QB.
Honestly it wont surprise me if Texas starts producing about 15 "legit" D-1A caliber kids at the QB spot each year (that are being recruited to play QB).

Also.. you can add to that QB list. I think today there was a few more kids committ to D-1A schools from Texas to play QB. I believe the Jenkins kid from Houston committed today to La Tech.
I think he'll be a pretty good one because he has alot of size and threw for alot of yards.
Texas Tech also got another QB committ from Steven Sheffield (Plugerville Connally) who is being compared to Kingsbury.

Steven Sheffield is a great fit at Tech. He was the leader of a very solid Pflugerville Connally team in 4a and was their district mvp. Stands at about 6'3" 190 or so. In the first playoff game this year he was 11 for 11 passing with 7 td's in the 1ST HALF  . It was against Austin Lanier, but plenty of good qbs have played crappy teams. I'm very happy for him.
