So last nite, I crawled into bed and was flipping through the stations looking for something boring enough to put me to sleep but wouldnt have infomercials on at 5am when I woke.
I went to Fox News because there was some annoying sounding f'er on CNN yapping about Godknowswhat.

Hannity was jawwing with these 2 hawt white chicks. but what I noticed was the liberal guy what used to be on with Sean was not there. and the show was not called Hannity does America or somesuch.
well. WTF happened to alan colmbs(sp?)? and when did this happen?

anyone?

I think it's called getting canned and going with the popular dude. I don't watch it other than by accident.

Yeah, good point. I guess Hannity can bring in some liberals and still argue with them pretty good.

I'd like to see them do tequila shots and then argue. More entertaining.

Colmbs is still around. He is on Hannity as a Great American panel member and other guests spots on Fox. Don't know the story on why they went from Hannity & Combs to just Hannity.

Hannity doesn't have the balls to bring a real liberal on and have a real debate, instead he either uses Colmbs, who's a joke, or doesn't give the opponent a chance to speak, a la O'Reilly.

just sayin'

That, we can agree on. That sort of thing really irritates me. when a talk show does that. I just turn them off. because if they cant actually debate someone, then anything they have to say is useless to me.
Someone should be able to make their point and do so without shutting the other person up.

Never have been a big fan of Hannity. His obsession with Clinton got old very quickly.

I liked Colmbs. He did look like he had lost a lot of weight there at the end. I hope he is not sick.

He's had a couple of real babe's on lately with him. Limbaugh even commented on his show a couple weeks ago how good looking one of them was with Sean. He got a kick of the woman's name being SE Cupp :D

Colmes has no audience...on TV or radio...he's been canned on both...Hannity is one of the highest rated on both..someone is watching and listening.

Even by the Obama people, O'Reilly was given credit for giving the most comprehensive and fair interview of Obama during the whole election campaign......your post has phoenix phail written all over it...like usual....;)

Remember it is about ratings. That nasty Hannity and that old decrepit O'Reilly have over 3 times the viewers your heros on CNN and the Obama Network (formerly known as MSNBC) have. I don't think they really care whether you like their shows or not. They are not aimed at you, they are aimed at people who actually have to pay the bulk of the taxes. You know, perhaps you are in the minority here and just can't see the truth of the matter. In case your closed mind hasn't noticed, Marx and Trosky are no longer looked upon with favor today, not even in Russia. Go out into the real world, pay taxes, get a real job, pay taxes, get a mortage, pay taxes, work your arse off and then watch the government take more and more of your hard-earned paycheck to give it to those "LESS-FORTUNATE" than yourself. I'd really like to see if you still have your well-known liberal philosophy when you are 50.

I think the jokes on you and you don't even know it. Classic.

Oh yeah, "JUST SAYIN'."

756561 you are 1 "pay taxes" short in your post , unless of course, you are in the running for a Obama cabinet post.;)

Every Liberal Hannity has brought on the show was a joke. I get annoyed with Hannity's high pitched voice and constant spouting off Republican points. I wish he would disclaim the Republican Party, be a Conservative and ONLY have Liberals on his show to offer a better point counter point discussion.
As for giving opponents chances to speak you have to consider the time constraints that's given to these show hosts. They work for the commercial ads. As far as O'Reilly is concerned, if you have watched the show from it's inception, he doesn't allow his opponents to spin and spew out crap. He tries to keep them on point and answer the friggin questions. This requires him to shout them down to stay on point. I have found over the years that the Libs and politicians in general don't want to answer any question directly.

I don't watch FOX news as often as I would like, but I was watching when Alan Colmes left the show. These clips may shed some light on it for ya'll.

As for myself, I don't miss Alan. He was way too liberal for me.

:) It's called strategy. There's a reason why Fox News used Colmes as the liberal when Hannity and Colmes was still around. When you watch(ed) the show, Hannity is the handsome, outspoken conservative and Colmes is the dweeby looking liberal... media strategy, of course Americans want to associate themselves with the good looking guy. It's like, hey if I'm a conservative, I'll be good enough like Hannity. This applies to all the "liberals" Fox News uses. They are typically "nobodies" and are rather socially inept or more middle of the road liberals.

Regardless, I love Fox News and I wanted to screaaam when my journalism professor made us watch "Outfoxed." (All you guys who sway to the left will love that documentary...)

The only real problem with Colmes is he had nothing but hot air and lies to defend. He's not as dumb as the subject he defended.
