Justin Drescher became the 10th Dragon D-1 commitment by agreeing to play at Colorado..he is a deep snapper and O-Lineman. Several more still to go in the best year ever for Carroll.

I still believe that the 2005 Dragons are the best of all the 5A Dragons - this is just further evidence.

What's the status on James Allen?

James isn't going to play in college... and Ortega recieved an offer from Buffalo and he could possible recieve one from Rice. I am not sure if he is going to get any more offers since he missed the whole 2nd half of the season and it is already tough for kickers to get scholarships out of high school. He has recieved many walk-on oppurtunities at alot of colleges.

And remember back in about July when I stated that Southlake Carroll would probably have about 6 to 7 kids on this years team sign D-1A. Some people said I was insane..:D
Hopefully Boyston decides to play. He has D-1A ability and size.

Now at 12 with Boydston, Ortega and maybe 1 or 2 others still to go....Jeremy Crabtree, so-called recruiting expert, believes Carroll will have more D-1 recruits than any school in the country...

Well done and congrats to a fine program and fine community, those guys deserve everything they are getting. Goes to show that hard work still works in this country.

As have I. Perhaps not since week 5, but certainly before the play-offs

It was no suprise when Agnew de-committed a couple of weeks ago from Tulsa. He went on his official to Rice last week and loved it down there.

Is Trey Reese big enough to play LB'er at Penn in the Ivy League? Fast enough to play DB? Anybody have any stats/opinion?

Trey is 6'2" 205 runs a 4.6..has a frame that can add 10-20 pounds without sacrificing speed...has some combativeness

I Think the newspaper had him listed as a safety. I think that his size is inbetween linebacker and safety and so is his speed.

Thks 4.6 is probably ok for an Ivy safety 215/220 is ok for an Ivy LB'er

the penn coaches were drooling over getting a player of trey's caliber. he'll start at least 3 years and probably 4. you'll be impressed when you see him play.
