I haven't heard anything since the BYU game. The prognosis was "2-4 weeks" if I am not mistaken and it has been two weeks. ou has a bye this week and they play Miami next Saturday. What is his status? He going to suit up against Miami?

Stoops keeps all injury information secret until it is 100% known what is going to happen. Nobody knows.

No practice reports? No one seeing him throwing? Not anything at all? What, are they keeping him locked in a cage? If they are being that quiet it sounds like the prognosis isn't good OR they want Miami to have to prepare for two possible quarterback situations.

No way he is back for the Miami game. I've heard stories about that same injury and that it will heal in about 3-4 weeks but if he gets hit there will be a serious amount of pain.

Not a serious amount of pain, but a potential reoccurring injury.

The Sprain can quickly turn to a Rotator Cuff tear.

It will gain full range of motion in about 4 weeks, but the sensitivity in that area if rushed is going to be high. any hit to his shoulder could put him out for the rest of the season with the need for surgery.

No doubt...I was thinking the same thing. Does the "stache" step aside to let a player back in that hasn't played for awile and stands a chance of getting reinjured.

He was throwing in practice today.

thats not abnormal for someone with the level of injury he has... The real test is when he gets hit.

He was only throwing short to mid range passes and wasn't following through on his passes all the way. Still a good week or two away from being able to throw normally.

Don't know Sam's status, but was in a restaurant in Austin last week and they had a BIG pic of him laying on the ground after the injury plastered all over the walls of the men's room.

Not sure what they were hoping to accomplish by that, but did kind of chuckle when thinking about how excited Horn fans were about it.
