The polls clearly show that the media and coaches make picks to start the year and outside of a few cases, just go by wins and losses the rest of the year. They don't have anything close to a correct poll. I'd take the 33rd/35th ranked Tech team over almost all the teams at a neutral site. Well, Tech will be ranked next week after beating Houston.

That's because they don't have to think as hard that way.

Georgia moving up after having 0 defense against Arkansas is a joke.

IF they beat Houston! Go Case Keenum (another local Abilene boy!) and the Houston Cougars!

Miami moving from #20 to #9?

Maybe I have my own opinions, but you would think they just beat a top 5 team or something last week, not an overrated Georgia Tech team ranked #14.

Yeah... seriously. Georgia Tech had no business being ranked after pedestrian performances against Jacksonville State and Clemson. I don't know if you saw but Herbstreit had them at #5!

For me, there really is no if about it. I'm a fan of both teams and anything I say about the game is free of bias.

Tech has a better D and will win. Houston really has to watch out for not letting down. I do think not playing last week helps avoid the letdown, but it's easy for kids to read their press clippings.

Yeah, they're doing well in an awful ACC. They wouldn't stay at 5 in the SEC or Big 12.

USC 13
Washington 16

Better team doesn't always win... even ones favored by 4 touchdowns.

Miami is legit bro....

That team is uber talented, and very well coached. I see them beating OU

I didn't want to admit it when he was a High School SR, but Jacory Harris is a stud QB. To me he should be getting Heisman consideration
