The Mountain West Conference. Easily. All this talk about how they deserve a BCS auto-bid, but the entire conference faceplants in games that matter. BYU blown out at home by FSU. Utah losing at good not great Oregon. Wyoming getting shut out by pitiful Colorado. San Diego State losing to perenial Division 1 dormat Idaho. Colorado State beat UNR but they should have lost to Weber State the week before. New Mexico still hasn't scored a touchdown this season in a loss to Air Force, which disappointed the league in a loss to Minnesota last week.

The conference's only hope for the BCS now is TCU, who did not play well for 3 quarters today at home vs. Texas State, and they go to Clemson on Saturday. The Frogs need to fix the mental mistakes that plagued them today vs. Texas State to win, but win there and the table sets up well for the Frogs, considering how the rest of the conference fared today.

i agree. USC can still make a BCS game, this weekend. it's almost impossible for an MWC team to even be considered for a BCS game, now.

TCU won and with all the losses they will probably move up a spot or 2, at minimum by GT and hopefully by BYU. So they are still in it.

Miami will leapfrog them methinks and you can't count on USC dropping that far, not from the pollsters.
