Just listened to Kubiak getting hired on the radio. When they asked him about Draft day he didn't say much but he did talk about how good Carr is and how much of a fan he is of him.

NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR THE YOUNG FANS!! I AM ONE OF THEM!

McNair and co. will feel pretty weird when most people in this city are wearing a Vince Young jersey (probably Titans).

First the Titans steal Houston's team, now they will steal the best local player in Houston history. The Titans love Houston

If the Texans aren't going to draft Vince, they need to trade down and acquire more draft picks and/or some OL's.

Reggie Bush would NOT be a smart draft pick for the Texans.
1. Domanick Davis managed to be Offensive ROY and rush for an average of 1,000 yards per season and adds another 400 yards per season as a receiver despite missing 8 games (5 last year) and running behind the worst line in football. The Texans have MUCH more glaring needs.
2. He's severely overrated as a return man, plus, the Texans current return man is going to the Pro Bowl, so drafting him for this supposed versatility makes no sense for Houston.
3. The last RB to go #1 was Ki-Jana Carter in '95...before that, it was Bo in '86. You can get an outstanding, every-down back in the latter rounds. RB's are not good value at #1.

Either take Vince, or find some desperate team that's dying to have someone with the combined DNA of Gayle Sayers, Barry Sanders, and Marshall Faulk yet wasn't the best RB on his college team, and get some help where you really badly need it...as in everywhere else but running back!

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!

No Vince? TRADE THE PICK FOR LINEMAN!!

They cannot trade the first pick. The only smart choice is Vince Young. I guess if they turned Bush into a Steve Smith type receiver he would be good, but as a runningback there are atleast 20 guys in the NFL or draft that I would rather have.

Definately sounds like a lineman and have heard he lives up to his name. The Texans need two more good men up front. Whether they take Vince or not, they should address this need.

First off, What did you expect kubiak to say " oh yeah, david carr is a class act but he is to much of panzy to play pro football" of course not, what kind of sales pitch is that. the texans have to keep all there options open, as much as it may pain some even trading down(which i wouldnt like). They are going to make david carr out to be a fixable Qb, is he i dont know...but what i do know is that Vince young has the same chance of becoming a texan as bush does. Why do i say that? ok, look...This franchise is in a rebuilding mode...New coach..new staff...why not new face of a franchise...This is all being looked at...of course mcnair likes carr...you try to admit that you made a mistake 5 years ago....Not easy.

And to all of the carr fans...saying that carr is good..keep carr...trade down...NO...how dumb are you...the boy would be better off some where he doesnt have an image of a sack dummy, plus he needs some major help. he is not a leader for this team, he seems to be socially challanged and YOU DONT REWARD A QB WHO HAS HAS A LOSING SEASON FOR 4 YEARS WITH A 8 MIL extension. he has not once in his entire pro football life been in danger of losing his starting spot....Philp misses some tackles and losses his stop for the season...david carr loses games, messes up passes, and makes stupid descisions....and he gets a 8 mil dollar contract...that is not good chemisty in the making...im telling you that much......

Vince young is for real....NO he is not a randall cunningham...he is 6 foot freakin 5 and 230 somthing odd pounds...Throwing motion...not a problem, he was the top qb in the nation(college). And he also appears to be able to scramble alittle(understatment)....another thing people should stop doing is comparing him to the one and only mike vick. Mike is a nice guy, but he cant throw...and he is a run first and throw later qb. Vince can throw....oh and he weighes all his options before he throws...if none...he runs....
Texans will take vince young

Carr does not suck. He is not as good as Vince Young, but he can throw the ball. Its kind of hard to be a great quarterback when you get sacked more than anybody else in the league. And yes, VY is more mobile than Carr, so he won't get sacked as much but he won't last long in the NFL if he has to run for his life every play. VY would be a good pick, and it would be great for him to go to the Texans, but Carr is not a bad Qb. The Texans need an O-Line.

I know our O-Line is bad, However, Just because we had the worst record in the NFL I don't think we had the worst Line in the NFL. Some of those sacks could have been avoided if he was a better QB. Also, I think he made some really BAD passes this year! I don't think he is that good.
